A/n: sorry for the late night upload last night and if it seems lazy. I started to get tired while drawing and was trying not to rush. With that said, let's move onto the chapter. Also I am sorry in advance if any of you cry.

The group were flying on their mechanical crows through the sunset as a large red bird was flying next to Y/n.

Y/n: Wow! It's so beautiful!

Yugo, Adamai, not skipping a beat: Not as beautiful as you~

Y/n blushes and wishes they could hide their face in their hands, but cannot because they are on a crow and don't want to crash. The red bird laughs at their misfortune and Y/n gives them a mini glare.

Eva: We're almost at the Cania Plains. I think it would be better to land here so we don't have to keep flying all night!

Ruel, not being able to hear: Keep flying all night? With all the time we've made up on our journey? Suren'y, we can take a break for a few hours.

Amalia, also mishearing: What? Fly for a few more hours? Wouldn't it be better to stop and rest for awhile?

The trio starts to argue as Dally looks at Rubilax in sadness. The red bird notices and nudges Y/n a little to get their attention. Y/n looks over in confusion and the bird gestures to Dally....however, Eva's shouting has startled Dally, causing him to drop Rubilax.

Eva: Oops, sorry to have scared you, Dally.

Dally: Scared? I wasn't scared. I just...Oh, forget it.

Dally dives down towards Rubilax as the others watch him. The others than follow, parking their birds next to his as he tries to talk to Rubilax.

Yugo: We can stay here for the night. We've made up a lot of time with these magic steeds.

Y/n, nodding: mhm! It was kinda fun to fly, but we need to walk eventually!

Ruel, standing up and crossing his arms: That's just what I was trying to say, but the girls didn't agree.

Amalia: What? You were the one who didn't agree. I can't help it if you're hard of hearing.

Eva: Deaf as a post, that's for sure.

Ruel, pouting: Yeah, yeah, tell it to my bag.

The royal trio laughs as Eva starts to talk, causing them to look at her.

Eva: Right, we two will go find things to make a fire....and no Y/n, you can't help us because I don't want you getting kidnapped again-

Adamai: you got kidnap-?

Y/n covers Adamai's mouth and nods, chuckling nervously.

Y/n, laughing nervously: haha, okay Eva!

Eva: Amalia, can you make a shelter for the–

They are cut off by Dally screaming, banging Rubilax against a rock as he shifts from form to form.

Dally: Speak to me, you numbskull Shushu!

Eva walks over and puts a hand on his shoulder, causing him to stop banging Rubilax against the rock. The red bird, meanwhile, is pecking at Yugo's head while Y/n and Adamai are trying to stop it.

Y/n: No! Bad bird!

The red bird laughs, finding this funny as they fly higher into the air. Adamai gets frustrated and breathes fire at the red bird as Y/n comforts a sulking Yugo. The bird, however, just flaps it's wings, causing the fire to dissipate. The bird laughs at Adamai's misfortune as Adamai growls, stopping his foot and sending sharp rocks at the bird. The red bird dodges, and then shapeshifts into a bow meow, hopping down from rock to rock elegantly without getting injured. The trio stare at the bird in shock.
