Jay's POV:
Rain pattered against the windows. We sat in a loose circle, with Lloyd half-leaning on his knees, Kai staring at Mark, Cole laying in my bed like it was his, Zane was smiling calmly, and Nya folded at arms, staring sharply at me. Mark, on the other hand, looked exhausted and annoyed.
"I'll start by saying that I and this Jay are from another world," Mark started. "A world much different from yours..."
"A different world?" Kai asked incredulously. "Master Wu said that there's, like, fifty versions of us somewhere out there. What if some other Kai's got laser eyes?!"
Nye rolled her eyes. "Or one where you'd actually think before talking,"
"Yeah, let me finish," Mark clapped loudly. "The point is, me and this Jay are from an entirely different universe than yours,"
Cole propped himself up on his elbow. "Okay, but how do we know this isn't some prank? You really expect us to believe that Jay - our Jay - got possessed by a cooler version of himself?
"You really think confidence is the weirdest part of all this?"
Lloyd nodded. "No offense, but our Jay kind of... jumble-talks or screams before he talks,"
"His name is Jay Walker, The Lightning Ninja, from his realm," Mark stated. "What do I know? He uses lightning and... wait, I think something about being ninja. He was an inventor, I think. There's elemental masters here, hopefully?"
Cole turned to me. "So, if what he's saying is real, say something that our Jay wouldn't know,"
"Sure. Your Master Wu is... I don't know! Mine made us to a training course so that we'd learn Spinjitsu. He's got a thousand enemies from his past, his brother was bit by a snake and became evil! He once taught a snake spinjitsu! Oh, and he's very old!"
"My sensors indicate possible deception! Or possible trauma! My percentages are... all over the place!"
"So, you're him... but dramatic?" Kai wondered.
"Dramatic?!"
Nya eyed me closely. "Jay, you don't sound like yourself at all. You sound like Master Wu,"
"Yeah, you lowkey sound so depressing," Cole said. "No wonder you're so serious,"
"Or... he could be a spy for Lord Garmadon who possessed our Jay," Zane theorized.
"What?!" I cried. "You're seriously jumping to that?!"
"Wait, yeah!" Lloyd agreed. "He could be! He knows too much about us! About lightning! About... my dad and Master Wu!"
"Are you guys really the ninja?" I was losing it. "Because from where I'm standing, it sounds like you discovered critical thinking 5 minutes ago!"
"Okay, that's definitely not our Jay!" Kai realized. "Our Jay would've fainted or something. Like, panicked and apologized 5 times by now!"
"He's not wrong though! You all sound so stupid!" Nya agreed with me.
"What?!"
"Finally, someone reasonable," Mark muttered.
"Excuse me?" Cole looked offended. "I am very reasonable. I'm just the man of few words about it!"
"Maybe we should just call a shaman," Lloyd said. "My mom knows a good one. Or there could be some scroll here... wait, Kai, what about the one your parents know?"
"Nah, that's too easy," Kai thought out loud. "What about solitary confinement!"
"You're all insane!" I cried. "Except Cole and Nya. I literally told you about my world, and you want to send to me jail?!"
