Part 30 - He looks very familiar

I stepped out of the flight, walking into the terminal.

As it turned out, my trip wasn't necessarily as frightening as I thought it would have been. For one, I didn't get airsick. It was more or less very chill.

The clouds did have some interesting patterns, like Emily said. I'm not lying, I saw one structured like an elephant.

I fell asleep during the majority of the flight, since there was nothing to do. Maybe I should have gotten first class instead of business, but I guess I shouldn't draw much attention to me. First class passengers have to be rich, and I wouldn't want to showcase that privilege in front of people, especially considering that I'm a superhero.

Walking around, the airport seemed to be the same. The wonders are likely waiting outside for me. Other than another security check, I had nothing else to do.

I pulled out my phone and saw that Jurong West would be about three hours away from the airport by car. I would have to book a cab, but my money should be more than enough to pay for everything.

In the city, it's 7 P.M., but here it's currently 9 A.M. The timezones must be very different in Asia, especially if night for the city is a casual morning for Singapore.

After doing the security check, I stepped out the airport.

The view made me stop in my tracks.

I instantly took out my phone and snapped a photo.

Normally, I wouldn't have been shocked about the city looking the way it did, given that my city also had giant buildings, but what set this apart was the different the environment. The buildings looked much more advanced, on the level of those from New Ninjago City, the rebuilt Ninjago City after Lloyd unlocked his dragon form and defeated The Overlord.

What set it apart was the more naturelike feature, such as the boat that was passing through the water in front of me. It also looked much calmer than Ninjago or my old city, where it was loud as hell in the city.

"Such a pity that I can't explore..." I muttered.

I need to take a cab to Jurong West, but I haven't converted to the currency here, which is the Singaporean Dollar. Furthermore, I'll need to talk to the cab driver about it, since going to the bank will waste time.

I used my app to book a cab: it worked internationally, not just in the U.S.

To my surprise, my cab driver was one minute away.

The transportation here must be fast because of how famous Singapore is for tourists. It normally took cabs about 30 minutes to even an hour to appear in the city. To be fair, The Vipers caused multiple problems with transportations, since most people weren't in The Sanction.

"Are you Jay Walker?" a man asked me, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Huh — yeah!" I replied, coming face to face with a driver in a blue car.
