I laid on the bed with my head on his chest as I traced circles onto it as he held me close.

"Now I hope you didn't do that to classify it as make up sex," I leaned up looking into his hazel-green eyes. He smiled up at me cheekily.

"Did it work?"

I rolled my eyes laying back on the pillow.

"I still feel like crap."

"That's gonna last a few days," he sat up rubbing his face. "Look, I told you I'd tell you about Benny when you got better."

I looked to his back curiously.

"He helped me out of Purgatory. We made a deal. He took me to the exit, I bring him out."

"He's a monster? What is he?" I leaned up on my elbows. He continued staying quiet. "Dean, what is Benny?"

"A vampire."

"You're joking ..." I sat up looking at him. He turned his face toward me showing an all too familiar serious look. "That's why I didn't want to rip his throat out."

"He's a good guy, Paisley. He saved you. I wasn't going to make it to you in that barn. He got there first."

"But a vampire, Dean. Of all the things he could have been, a freaking vampire?"

"I know," he sighed. "I know, but he helped me, Paisley, and he saved you. Two things that I'm grateful for. He got me out of Purgatory."

"I guess that's a good point," I sighed.

Since we were getting things off our chests. I sat up picking at the blanket beginning to feel nervous at the idea of confessing to him what happened.

"Since we're feeling confessional, I suppose I have something I should tell you," I avoided eye contact with him. He put his hand on my knee and I let out a deep sigh. "Just remember, we split."

"Okay .."

"I got drunk," I started. "Not that that is any excuse."

"What? Did you have a one night stand or something?"

"Or something," I rubbed the back of neck. "Just a little kiss."

He cleared his throat.

"Like you said, we split," he very painfully obviously forced out.

"That's uhm, that's not the part that makes me feel obligated to tell you," I took a quick glance to try and read his face, but I found myself not being able to look at him very long. I could feel his confusion coming off him until he straightened his body and turned to me more. The body language of realization.

"You're not serious," his voice got dangerously low. I stayed quiet as I turned away from him shamefully. "Paisley, you didn't."

"I pushed away from him!" I immediately blurted. The word vomit was real. "I — I pushed away from him when I realized what I was doing. It was a stupid mistake, a REALLY stupid mistake. I was drunk and I was pissed and I really wanted you. I know being drunk is no excuse, and I know I shouldn't have done it," my voice broke as he got up getting his clothes on.

"You wanted me but kissed my brother? That doesn't make any sense, Paisley."

"It was so wrong, Dean. I regret the whole thing and it meant absolutely nothing. I promise," I got up holding a thin sheet around myself as he stopped and looked at me.

"We weren't together."

"Dean, it was a drunken mistake. Being drunk doesn't excuse it, I know, but it was a mistake," I felt a tear run down my cheek.
