I stared out of the window of the impala with my arms crossed over my chest. I knew I have never been good at hiding my facial expression, especially when it comes to Dean upsetting me, and frankly at this moment I had absolutely no fucks to give. I was way too entirely upset at his choice to care, and not to mention having to come in the same area as who we were going after.

"Sweetheart, c'mon," he turned the radio down after having a drumming session. I turned my head and looked at him through my eyelashes heavily annoyed. I can't believe I felt bad enough to help him.

"Sometimes a monster is a monster, Dean," I muttered looking back out of the window as we came up on the diner. Guidry's Cajun Cafe. Our newest case brought us down to the cajun corner of Louisiana — Carencro, Louisiana. If the dots haven't clicked, we were after a southern vampire that stupidly got himself on the map.

"You're biased because of what he is," he got out of the impala and ran to my side opening the door. I looked up at him with that pouty look again.

"Not to be dramatic, but it's hard not to. Don't get me wrong, before you throw the reasons in my face again, I'm grateful for what he did, but sometimes a monster is a monster," I followed him into the cafe their hunter friend Martin Creasar told Sam he has been working at. Sam has had Martin keeping tabs on Benny for a while now, just to ensure he stays in line. Well, there have been dead bodies coming up here in Carencro that have looked like their friggin necks have been mauled to pieces. Hence the run we're doing after Benny before Sam and Martin get their hands on him. I understood Sam's line of thinking, but I feel like I have to support Dean, so to keep from having too many people on his ass, I'm here. Dean was so insistent on giving him a chance because apparently Martin was super loony at one point in his life, and not to mention .. Benny has just become his new found bestie.

"If he can have a chance, he's getting it," Dean grumbled as we sat down at the bar. "Oouu, look pie."

I rolled my eyes with a smile as the waitress came over to us giving us each a menu. I looked down at it not feeling entirely hungry so opted for giving her a smile.

"Actually, I already know what I want," Dean looked up smiling at the waitress. He placed his hand on my thigh beneath the counter. It was something he did when we went to diners, and I'm not exactly sure why he did it. I never quite figured it out.

"Lemme guess .. gumbo," she gave him a smile back with a twinkle in her eye. I knitted my brows as I felt like a piece of chopped liver thrown to the side.

Oh wait .. that might be why he does it.

Dean laughs, "Well, it was gonna be gumbo until I saw .." he glanced over at the pie dish sitting on the counter with that goofy hunger in his eye for pie. I smiled at how adorable he could be. He pointed at the pie. "Pie."

"Well, the special's pecan."

"'Course it is, let's do that," he gave her a cheeky smile. He's just being nice, Paisley. "Anything?" he looked to me. I shook out of my thoughts and looked to him. The waitress however kept her eyes on him.

"Huh? No, I'm fine."

She walked away to go gather the pie and Dean's eyes wondered to the wall behind the counter. I looked myself and saw the different pictures pinned up of the workers and immediately recognized Benny. Between seeing him and the waitress trying to flirt with Dean, I could probably fight somebody.
