After struggling to get my shoes on and texting Liz my friend watching Eleanor, I was awestruck at the sight of Baby outside my house after so long. Baby was his car, a black '67 Chevy Impala.

"Oh, Baby, momma's missed you," I rubbed her seats and patted the dash. Sam chuckled as the engine came to life and I gave him a soft smile as he drove off toward the motel. It was a quiet ride from that point on and it made my mind begin racing, but before it got too far racing we pulled into a motel called the Lucky Devil.

Gee how fitting.

"Look, before we go in here, I don't want you to get upset if he doesn't react in a positive way or something," Sam turned in his seat and looked at me seriously. I knitted my brows softly.

"Did you do the test?"

"He kind of did it to himself. If you want, I'll tell him I did it to you," he chuckled.

I smiled as I looked forward.

"You think it's a good idea? Maybe I should just wait for him to come to me."

"You and I both know waiting isn't going to do any good. We've been in this too long," he put his hand on my arm. I fiddled with my fingers as I looked down remembering many of the times where waiting didn't get me anywhere good.

"You ever wonder what it would have been like if we tried to stay in Stanford despite what happened?" I whispered.

"All the time," he sighed deeply. "C'mon."

I got out of the impala and watched Sam head to the door with room number 23 on the door. He motioned me over as he held the key to the lock and I stood beside him. My heart began hammering in my chest as I heard the lock click and he twisted the knob and pushed the door open.

"You first," he offered. I gave him a weary look but he nodded nonetheless so I stepped through the door.

"Dean?" he questioned as he followed behind me.

"Yeah, I'm still here," he grumbled from the other side  of the half piece wall. He must've been sitting on the bed, and when I could see over the wall he had his head tucked in his hands.

"I went and got you something."

Thing? I looked to him in silent sassy question. He waved his hand at me and if the moment hadn't have been serious, I would have fought him back.

"Honestly, Sammy I'm not all that hungry at the moment."

"Not food," we stopped at the small arch way separating the two queen beds from the kitchen. I locked my eyes on his body and immediately felt myself beginning to tear up, and I couldn't stop the tears from falling or my body from shaking with sobs. Sam immediately put his hand on my shoulder as I brought a hand to my mouth to try and keep quiet.

"What then?" he questioned but I was already speeding towards him and bent down to my knees as I brought him into my chest gripping his hair.

"What the hell?" he tensed beginning to pull away. "Wait, vanilla?" he gripped my shoulders and pulled us apart. "Oh my god, baby?" his eyes filled up.

"Dean," I sobbed as my hands held his cheeks looking between his eyes. I pulled him close connecting our lips together sniffling through my nose and gripping to the ends of his hair. He slid off the edge of the bed to the floor to be more level with me as he held me tight.

"I'm so sorry, honey. I'm sorry," he whispered as I sobbed into his chest. I had a lot of pent up emotions, but the most I was feeling at the moment was relief. "Thank you, Sammy," his voice broke as I felt him look up at Sam.
