This has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through.

I would go back and have Eleanor again if it meant stopping this.

I laid in the bed curled in a ball with my hands over my ears. I don't know who was in the motel room next door, but their heart was beating so freaking loud. It was driving me crazy. The door to the motel opened, but I didn't bother sitting up, but that god awful beating got louder. That was what made me sit up to see Dean followed by his friend. I couldn't remember his name and didn't care to at the moment.

It was Dean that I was hearing.

He flicked the light on and I threw my hands up blocking it.

"What is your problem? Turn that back off," I groaned squinting at him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he spoke quickly flicking it back off.

"Your heart is beating ... so incredibly loud," I looked at him before pushing my hair from my face and leaning on my legs.

"We're working on getting the stuff, I promise," I felt his hand comb through my hair. I scooted back and away from him.

"That's not a good idea," I looked at him seriously. "It's taking everything to not jump on you right now."

He gave me a small smirk.

"You know what I mean," I gave him a dumb look.

"The hunger is only gonna get stronger."

"I'm sorry, who is he again?" I pointed.

"Right, Benny this is Paisley. Paisley, this is Benny."

"Right," I squinted. "You know, the style is a very 20's feel. I like it. I also guess I never properly thanked you really. Could have ganked him a little bit sooner though," I shrugged.

"You're welcome, darlin. I tried my hardest, I know how much you mean to Dean, and he's my friend."

"How do you know each other?"

Benny was getting ready to answer but Dean beat him to it.

"A hunt, recently," he gave me a quick nod.

I gave him a look trying to study him to see if he was lying to me or keeping something hidden. That seems to be his favorite thing to do lately, and I don't see how he doesn't realize that leads to more trouble. Unless this Benny guy is just an expert on vampire transitions, he knows a little too much to just be another hunter. From pointing out how my eyes had already changed to the hunger thing. How would he know the hunger grows?

"Are you lying to me? That seems to be your thing here lately. At least keeping things from me."

"Paisley," he sighed.

"Can you blame me for being unsure, Dean? I can't imagine what you went through, I really can't, but you're .. different. I miss the guy that no matter how bad it was, he told me everything at the drop of a dime. You know, the one — " I held my hand over my mouth as if that would stop the sharp pains in my gums.

"Paisley?" Dean took a step forward but I held my hand out.

"Fangs," I mumbled massaging my mouth. He sighed in response.

"We gotta get the rest of the ingredients. Only a few things left, but there's one I need you to get," he squatted in front of me putting his hand on my knee. I looked into his eyes and he gave a soft smile that disappeared.

"You need me to get his blood, don't you?"

He gave a nod then looked over his shoulder at Benny, "Can you give us a minute alone?"
