Once again Gojo sat in front of Sukuna with sweat dripping down his face and he swallowed several times to quell his worries.

"Look.." His words stopped for a moment, "Last night I was drunk and..."

"Somehow this feels like déjà vu" Sukuna said, interrupting Gojo's words.

Sukuna averted his gaze from Gojo a little languidly with his eyebrows straight, "Whatever your reason, I don't care. You don't have to act like this if you thought of me at least as a human from the start."

Hearing this, Gojo's anger suddenly exploded, "I act like this because I think of you as a human Putting aside your demon-like deeds! I could easily kill you or torture you in the basement filled with disgusting creatures there!"

He gripped Sukuna's collar so tightly that his fists shook, Sukuna, who didn't fight back, looked at the shaking hands and then looked straight into the two blue eyes in front of him which were filled with anger.

"Then why don't you do it?" he pull Gojo's hand and made him come closer then whispered, "even though you could have drugged me again and again, making me weak and helpless  then leaving me to die in the basement with those insects."

"So why didn't you do it? Even though you had lots of opportunities to skin me, cut off my body parts one by one while I was conscious... you... don't think that you're innocent either. like you said before you already threw away that title, right? Play as a good cop who saves everyone"

"YOU!"

Before Gojo stood up from his chair, Geto patted Gojo's shoulder and pressed him to sit back down, "Satoru control yourself. We also made a mistake here because we treated him badly last night."

"Besides," Geto sat on the bed next to Sukuna, "can't we have a good talk after breakfast?" Geto smiled as he lifted the tray containing breakfast, "I just finished cooking so it's still warm."

Seeing this, Gojo became even more annoyed and pulled Geto's arm out of the room, leaving Sukuna with a warm bowl of chicken porridge.

"What the fuck Suguru!? Why are you acting like this to that shit?" Gojo grabbed Geto's shoulder and shook him hoping to wake him up, "He's a criminal! How can you act like this?! are you out of your mind?!"

Geto held Gojo's hand, "even though he is a criminal we shouldn't treat him like that, it's inhumane Satoru."

Hearing this, Gojo suddenly slapped Geto's hand away, "what the!- Why are you like this?!" His eyes reddened as he endured the tightness in his chest.

"What do you mean?" Geto asked confused

"why do you still not understand!" The corner of Gojo's eye accidentally saw the moment where Sukuna ate the breakfast that was on the tray earlier.

"You!" Gojo quickly walked back into the room and snatched the bowl of warm porridge from Sukuna's hand, "You shouldn't eat this food!"

Gojo then came out and locked the bedroom door from the outside, the sound of an argument between Gojo and Geto was heard which soon ended with the sound of the door slamming.

Sukuna rolled his eyes and lay back down, "ah damn, I should have just put the porridge in at once even though it was hot."

Not long after, the sound of the door opening squeaked and woke Sukuna from his sleep and revealed Geto's figure from behind the door carrying a tray.

"please forgive Satoru's attitude earlier, he is quite emotional when it comes to you." he said with a smile

Before I could sit down he sat on the edge of the bed and put the tray beside him, "You must be hungry, here I brought food that you can digest. You need to eat a lot in conditions like this so that your stamina can return."

Without glancing at the tray that Geto was carrying, Sukuna without blinking looked straight at the man in front of him. "Why?"

"hm?"

"My common sense has been lost since living with a crazy person like Gojo, so I will directly ask you again, why are you doing this?" Sukuna's eyebrows furrowed without taking his eyes off Geto, "apart from your story, I have never done anything good to make you repay me like this. Tell me what you want from me like most people come to me."

With a flat expression, Sukuna raised his index finger, "wealth?"

then he raised his second finger, "position? I can make you any position you want" then raised his third finger, "or is it my death?"

Geto grabbed Sukuna's hand and with a sad expression he lowered his hand and said, "Can't I do good to fellow humans? I don't need anything in return, I just want to help you."

"Stop pretending." Sukuna brushed off Geto's hand, "humans are hypocrites. No human is willing to do something without reward."

"I do." Geto answered confidently, "I'm doing this because I want to, I don't expect anything in return from you.. I just want to help you."

"Then get me out of here." Sukuna grabbed Geto's sleeve and gripped him, "If you really want to help me then get me out of here, set me free, then I will believe in you."

"I can't." Geto said while looking away with a sad expression

"why?"

"Gojo carries the key wherever he goes. He wears it with him." Geto glanced at the chains that bound my body, "and I can't help you break those chains that are made of who knows what." He then stroked Sukuna's blue ankle, "You must have tried to get it off, right."

the pink haired man pulled his legs quickly and hid them under the blanket, "as I thought." Sukuna touched the back of his hair that was already touching his shoulders

"I said that doesn't mean I don't want to help you get out of here, I just can't. I cook it for you not because I expect something in return from you, I just don't want you to get sick and..."

"Can you... leave me alone here."

Before Geto wanted to continue his words, he then stopped when he saw the empty gaze in front of him. "Okay, if that's what you want, don't forget to eat it before the food gets cold." Geto said after placing the tray on the table and then walking out.

"Don't!"

"yes?"

the two red eyes looked at the door with a little fear, "don't close the door..." saw Geto looking at him confusedly. Sukuna then looked away, "I don't like it  dark."

Geto smiled warmly and answered softly, "sure."

Sukuna could see clearly that in the keyhole there was previously a pin still hanging from the keyhole which finally disappeared a moment after Geto left the room.
