Kidnapping my kidnapper

Chapter 12

Kai's POV.

"So Kai will be helping us today by hacking into the program of The Fish", said Joe while looking at some papers in his hand. The fuck is "The fish"?

"Boss I don't think that's a good idea. He just got here", said Tom.  

"What's the Fish?", I asked confused. 

"Ohh right. To an outstander that name must sound pretty stupid", said Antonio giggling. 

"Tom you can explain", said Joe. 

"Of course Boss. The Fish is an organisation made to steal organs and sell them to rich people. While we don't care about their business they apperently hate us and were about to kidnap Pepe. They propably chose her because of her inoccend looks... but well... she slaughtered them all. Now we have a war against them. Even if they aren't as skilled as us, they have a lot more people, so we need to take this more seriously. Also they aren't actually called "The Fish", we just don't know their official name. If you wan't a more detailed explanation as to why we-"

"Alright Tom thanks, but we don't wan't Kai to fall asleep", said Joe while looking bored out of the window. 

"Okayyy... So what does that have to do with me?", I asked.

"We found the programm they use to communicate with each other, but we don't know how to get in yet", said Julia. 

"That's because we don't have anyone who knows about that stuff", said Katja.

"Well now we do apparently", said Antonio smirking. Everyone  turned their eyes on me. 

I felt a bit awkward at that. I looked at Joe for help. 

"I'm still not sure about him doing such a job at his first day. If he messes up we're going to be in big trouble", said Tom while adjusting his glasses. 

"I don't care. It got a lot boring these past days, lets get some acction", said Pepe while smiling scary. 

"I'm also for him doing it. We don't know how much time we have till they attack, I'd say we just let him do whatever and see what happens", said Julia. 

I looked at them dumbfounded. And why is no one asking for my opinion?! What the fuck?

"Alright Kai. Because you are new to this you'll have to do this in front of us, even though I think we wont't really notice if you do something wrong", said Joe while handing me a Laptop. 

I rolled my eyes and looked at the website that was already open. It was a dark green page with two boxes in the middle with the title "User name" and "Password"

There could be nothing else seen on the page. 

I looked at them and saw them looking at me back curiously. 

"Now what do you expect me to do with that?! How the hell am I supposed to find something on this?!"

"I don't know. Just do it", Antonio. 

"How the fuck do you think this workes?! I can't do magic", I said. 

"Kai I saw some reports about you hacking into the FBI. I'm sure you can also do this", said Joe.

I looked at him surprised. "How did you found out about-"

"Alright let's stop talking now. Kai do your work", said Julia. 

I rolled my eyes but didn't say anything else. Maybe I just really have to take this seriously and look into it more. 

I looked at the page again. There wasn't anything linked down below or anything. But after I looked at the URL of this I regognized something. It was the Q.V.I. company. I had some problems with them in the past. They are a big system who work with everyone who can offer them money, even bad guys. They secure the data of their clients, and keep them together while also creating a communication system between the members of the group they are supposed to work for. But a thing they haven't changed is the code 3h96a2 appearing in every website they created in  the URL of it. Pretty stupid if you aks me, now I already now who the so called "Fish" work with. 

But there is still another stupid thing the Q.V.I was doing in the past. I opened a new tab and typed something. I heard Antonio saying something behind me but I didn't pay close attention to him. 

Then I found the website I was searching for. It's called "How to run 500 metres without tripping" 

"Kai what are you doing?", asked Joe.

I don't really have the patience to explain it to him right now. "Just sit back and watch" , I said. That's why I don't like having people watching me while I'm working. 

Then I clicked on the website and scrolled down, till I came to a link that was kinda hidden in the corner. I clicked on it and was send to another website with the letters Q.V.I. written on top. I clicked the button that said Log in. I was kinda relieved  that I still remembered my name and password from when I was working on that case a while ago.  

After logging in I went to "customers" and many names appeared on the screen. That was the stupid thing Q.V.I did. They always listed their clients to brag about how great they are. Even if the names aren't the real names of the companys, if "The Fish" is as big as the other were talking about it, it sure is mentioned here.

You could actually sort the list like you wanted, and I clicked on "from best to lowest".

And yes that was talking about how much money the customers gave to Q.V.I.

After sorting the list the fist name that appeared was "Sunken". My eyes darkened at the name. I could't keep them down for long enough. Whatever, I'll deal with them later, right now I have another thing I gotta do.

The next name that appeared was called: "E.R.S." I knew this was a big company just by the fact that their name was just letters. Big companys do that for some reason. Maybe they are too uncreative to come up with a real name. I clicked on them and it gave me some more information. 

Name: E.R.S (code name)

Money transferred: 11 Million

Deal created: 01.07.2001 

Deal lasts till: 01.07.2051

"Joe do you know when the Fish started their business?", I asked.

"Not sure. The first we heard of them was around 2005 I think. Why? You got a hint?", answered Joe.

I ignored his question. "Does the name E.R.S. say to you something?"

"Not rea-"

"I know what that is! It's from a post I saw on Reddit ones. Something about someone being kidnapped and stuff, then they found the body but with some documents left near it. And there was also E.R.S. written on it.", said Lara. 

"When did you see that post?", I asked.

"Like 5 month ago?"

"Do you still know the name of the reddit user?"

"Nope. Also that post was deleted a bit after, I couldn't find it anymore when I wanted to show it to somebody"

"Ah okay", I said looking at the laptop again. It sure is suspicious but I can't tell for sure if it is the Fish. But if I research more about it on other websites I'll find more to work with.

Joe's POV.

Kai's been sitting here for maybe 5 hours now. Everyone already left somewhere else besides me and Julia. He's really trying to catch The Fish. Didn't really expect him to be so cooperative. But well, it somehow looks like he's enjoing it right now. Like he missed doing whatever he's doing right now. Well good, we have a lot of work for him.

Like 3 hours ago Kai asked for some pen and paper and now that paper is full of some codes and scribbles. I have no idea what this is all about. It looks so complicated. 

Then Kai stopped moving and just looked at the laptop for a minute. 

"I HAVE IT! I GOT LOG IN DATA FROM SOMEONE WORKING IN THE FISH", he suddently screamed.
