Kidnapping my kidnapper

Chapter 26

"Kai, we gotta go", said Callie after running to our home. I was just drawing something from a pen I found, before she came and started packing some stuff in a backpack.

"What... Why?", I asked, but even I could tell that something serious happened.

"I'll tell you later. Come now", she said and took my hand, before starting to run. We ran and ran, till my little legs couldn't move anymore and I fell.

"Omg Kai, are you okay?! I'm sorry, was I too fast? Come, I'll carry you", Callie said and moved the backpack on one shoulder, so that she could take me piggyback. Then she started running again. She ran and ran and didn't stop. 

"Callie... Why... why are we running away? And where are we going?", I asked, scared of the answer.

"Remember when we wanted to get these toy cars from that one shop?", she asked and I nodded. 

"But we didn't because we couldn't get past these video cameras, right? Well yesterday I wanted to try again. Because you know... those toys did look really cool... The store where they were seemed odd to me from the start, because it had so many cameras and even guards. Well, I figured out why", she giggled. "It wasn't a toy store. It was a drug store. It was just disguised, so that nomal people wouldn't know. But I found out... and the guards noticed that I knew. And well, sudently they were chasing me out of the store... and to the street... and on the way home. But at some point I thought I lost them. 

I was wrong. Today when I went to get some food, these guys spotted me and chased after me. Crazy, right? Just because a 13 year old girl found out about a drug store. That doesn't sound like such a big deal, but I guess it was for them", Callie said. There was some silence after that. After she turned around and saw my sad face, she took out something from her pocket.

"But you wanna know what? Guess what I still managed to get in all that chaos", she said and showed me proudly the blue-red toy car we both wanted to get. My face litt up and I got to play with it. Callie giggled. 

Suddently we heard car noises from behind us. "FUCK", Callie screamed, and began running again. But of course we weren't as fast as a car, and suddently a black car stopped in front of us and a man and a woman exited. Callie put me on the ground and stood protectivelly in front of me, while the woman and her just stared at it other. 

"So you're telling me these kids are supposed to be spys?", that woman asked. She looked at us disgusted, even though she herself also looked disgusting. 

"Yes there is no doubt. The girl managed to slip past all of our guards and only one security camera spotted her. She also took that toy that boy is holding right now, which we hid the most expensive drugs in", said the guy.

I looked at the toy car again. Huh?

"We didn't know that! I just thought the car looked cool and wanted to give it to my brother! I'm so so so sorry if we made you any troubles! We will give you the car back and we will also never tell anyone about this! We don't even have anyone to tell!", said Callie, begging them to just let us go.

The man took the car from my hands "This is bullshit! Layla, come look at this thing! It's so ugly! What child would want to play with it?! We went to a store and chose the most disgusting looking toy we could find"

I looked at the toy in his hand. That thing is supposed to be ugly? But it's so pretty...

The woman came towards us and kneeled infront of us. She smiled, but suddently she boxed my sister straight into her face and she went flying on top of me. I screamed and began to cry.

"Shh, Kai it's alright. We'll get out of this, don't worry", she said smiling kindly at me.
"Now, listen to me very closely, okay?", Callie asked and I nodded. 

"Are you dead already?", I heard the woman ask as she came slowly towards us.

"I'm gonna count to three. When I get there, I want you to run the opposite way while screaming for help as fast as you can, can you do that?" I looked at Callie with big eyes. "And you?", I asked.

She smiled again. "I'm gonna beat those motherfuckers and come running behind you"

She's lying. She will leave me. She will die alone while I get to run away.

"No", I said. "If we die, I want us to die together", I said. Even if I'm only 8 years old, I knew exactly what I meant. And Callie knew that too. At first she looked shocked, but then she started giggling. "I should have known you would say that. Ahh, what a dumbass you are", she said and just hugged me. I hugged back. Now we will forever be siblings, even in the afterlife, whatever that is.

"You done?", the woman asked before she grabbed Callie hair and pulled her backwards. Not even a second later she rammed a knife in her stomach. Of course my sister couldn't help but scream painfully in that situation.

"CALLIE", I screamed and ran towards her, the woman pushing me away though. 

"Don't worry, you'll get your turn the moment I'm done with bitch"

My sister is not a bitch. My sister is the kindest person on this whole planet. I got furious. I'm gonna kill that woman. I looked at Callie again. She had blood dripping out of her mouth, but she still was alive. But in pain. I looked at the woman again. She was just laughing.

I'm gonna kill that woman. 

Before she could blink another time I just jumped at her, taking the bloody knife that was just in her hand and ramming it in her shoulder. While doing that I kicked and hit her as much as I could while also trying to choke her, like Callie taught me. But of  course, that didn't work with my little hands. One moment later I was laying on the growned after beeing pushed off of her. 

"Wtf is wrong with you little man", she said before taking the knife that was still stuck in her shoulder, and ramming it in Callie's neck.

"NOOOO CALLIE" I screamed, crawling towards her.

"Don't act so surprised, I thought you both knew you were going to die. Now it's you're turn. You will pay for what you just did"

Before she could get any closer to me though, distant sirens could be heard.
"Shit, these are the cops", said the man, that was just leaning against the car, but now jumping up.

"The fuck, who called them?", asked the woman, before glaring at me.
"Fucking bitch", she said, then took the knife and rammed it in my leg. I screamed.

"LAYLA COME NOW, I CAN SEE THEM ALREADY", screamed the man, and a moment after, they where both gone.

"CALLIE! CALLIE CAN YOU HEAR ME?! OH MY FUCKING GOD! CALLIE", I screamed, but Callie didn't move an inch. I put my hand on her neck, trying to stop the bleeding. 

But it was too late. 

She wasn't breathing anymore. 

She's gone. She left me alone. I'm alone now. She isn't here anymore. My sister. Is gone. She's gone. She's gone. She left. I'm alone. She died. Sie died. She is dead. Why am I alive? Why did I only get my leg hurt, while she has to suffer? She left me. I left her. I left her alone to die. Is she waiting for me in the afterlife? Does she also want me to follow her?

I looked at the black car, that was still visible in the distance. 

I can't die.

Not before I kill that bitch.
