Chapter 14

Kai's POV.

Yes, the situation is hella awkward right now. Me just laying in bet and a certain someone laying beside me. 

Yes Joe was laying beside me.

Why?

Don't ask me.

Ask that bastard that is the reason I can't sleep, because of his snoring. Who knew the big mafia boss would be snoring in his seep. 

After 10 minutes of pointlessly laying around, I just got up. There was so point to keep laying around and hoping to get some sleep, I can't sleep if there is too much noise.

What was that fucker even running from? After I didn't let him stay in the room he said something about him having to hide from someone and just went to bed. 

He's such a braindead asshole, he does realise I can kill him in his sleep, right?

Whatever, I'm gonna go outside now and see who he was trying to get away from. Was ist Julia again? Like yeah she's scary but come on.

After leaving my room I just went around the building. Even though it was still in the night, there were still many people up. Maybe guarding the place or something. 

While walking around I saw someone in the corner of my eye that I recognized. What was her name again? Lourise? Lainy? Lele? No it was something simpler. I don't know, i'll just call her Lulu for now. 

I went to her and tipped her on the shoulders. She turned around and looked at me surprised.

"Kai? What are you doing here?"

"Well, for some weird reason Joe got into my room, saying he was hiding from someone and now he doesn't want to leave", I said and then there was like a 5 second silence before Lulu started laughing her ass off.

I kinda also had to smile, because the situtation is really cursed right now.

After she calmed down a bit she explained it to me. 

"Well our boss isn't the real boss of everything, it's Emma, I think you know that by now. And Emma has an aunt. A very... uh, how do I say it... aggressive aunt? But aggrassive in a good way! Like she's aggressevily kind"

"Alright? And?"

"Well for some reason she ships Joe and Emm-"

"HHAHAHAHAHAHA WHATTT", I could't hold it in anymore  and started laughing. Lulu joined me a second after.

While laughing she still tried to explain the situation.

"Yeahh...   And then she always... HAAHA THATS SO WEIRD TO TALK ABOUT I CAN'T"

At this point I haven't even heard the full story and me and Lulu were on the ground laughing our ass off. 
After calming down a little she started talking again.

"Emma's aunt sometimes comes here to talk with Joe about relationships, marriage and even kids and Joe has to endure it because Emma doesn't allow him to kill her aunt"

We started laughin again. Just the image of Joe sitting accross that aunt on a table, while she talks about him having sex with Emma to get kids is so cursed that I wont believe it happening even if I would see it.

"So yeah Joe always either goes somewhere else or hides if she is around", said Lulu.

"So what do we do now?", I asked.

"Dunno. I also got kicked out of my room because I put milk in Katja's shoes and now I'm scared to go back because I know that she'll kill me"

"Why did you... Nevermind. Do you and Katja live together?"

"Yeah she's my girlfriend"

"Cool. Can you show me around the building? I was about to get lost if Joe didn't show up yersterday to show me my room"

Lulu giggled. "Sure.

After that we just walked around and she was showing me alle the rooms and halls that looked important. 

There was a sign on a door that looked like a bottle or something.

"Lulu, what's that?", I asked.

"HAHAHAHAHA WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?"

Oh shit. Right, that wasn't her real name, I just made that up because I forgot it.

"Well I kinda forgot what your name was"

"It's Lara. But you know what, you can keep calling me Lulu. It's so stupid it's at the point where it gets cute"

I laughed. "Alright, if you say so"

"This is our bar", Lulu said pointing at the door with the sign. 

"It looks pretty plain", I said. There really wasn't anything special about this door beside that sign. I could already imagine how boring it would be inside. Also I doubt there would be many people here. 

"Well why don't you just see it yourself", Lulu said smirking while opening the door. 

Oh shit.

It looked so good. It was so big, and the bar in the middle looked so esthetic with the wood design. There were colored lights flashing everywhere. 

And the people. There were so many. I didn't even know there were this many at the building. 

"Wanna have fun?", asked Lulu smirking and I smirked back. 

"Of course"
