Kidnapping my kidnapper

Chapter 29

Joe's POV.

"Yeah no. Definitely not. This shouldn't even be considered an idea at this point. How high were you while thinking of this?!",  I asked, looking at the paper Pepe just pressed into my hands. She just giggled like I told her a joke. 

"What were you expecting letting Pepe be apart of your team", said Antonio, rolling his eyes. 

"Not this!", I half screamed holding the paper up. 

"Why, what's this about?", asked Kai, who was coming through the door right now. He looked like he just woke up after a 10 hour sleep... which he did. His pink-red hair stood in all weird angles and his eyes where only half lid. His right hand went up to rub his eye and somehow with the way he was leaning against the door frame this did look cute.
Wait... what? 
Let's just forget what I was thinking.

"Morning. You look like shit", said Antonio after taking a glance up. 

"I just got kidnapped. What's your excuse?", yawned Kai before sitting down on a chair, enjoying his victory. 

Antonio looked like he was about to say something, so I decided to jump in before anyone kills someone.

"We were discussing a... plan? I guess? But we aren't going to do it either way so there was no point in this"

"Why, what was the plan?", asked Kai confused. 

I looked down to the abomination I had in my hand. There was no way I could say it in my own words so I just gave it Kai instead. He looked at it and began reading it out loud. 

"First we go to the libraby (We have a library nearby, right?), because I asked a dude to put the information we need in a book that looked like no one would wanna read. (He got the information by being a spy for 3 years, that's why he can't talk to us, because they shouldn't know he's a spy, you know?) Also he's on our side now because we gave him something he wants. (Like guns or canons or smt, idk what does a guy want??) Then with the information we have (it's probably gonna be infos about how to break in or smt important, idk you do this stuff not me) we're gonna storm in and steal the ring, while using Tom as a human sacrifice to get out (I'm sorry Tom you where probably the only one that wouldn't try to fight back and stick to the plan, rest in pieces) Then we give Emma the ring and get the praise for how good we are. This is plan A, I also have plan B, C, and E if you want them. Don't ask about plan D. Don't ask..."

After Kai read it all, we all just sat in silence, letting our brain process the information we got. The second time hits even harder then the first time I read this... 
Then Kai gave a small "Wtf" before looking at me like I just lost all my braincells.

"Don't look at me like that. It was Pepe...", I said, slowly turning my head to her. She was just sitting next to Julia on top of the desk, kicking her feet and laughing quietly. 

"Ohh... Now it makes more sence. If imma be real, for Pepe this isn't bad I think. I'm actually surprised she can write", said Kai, looking at the paper again like he now understands it more.  

"See, that's what I said", said Lara.

"And what's that about the ring? For what is the plan even for?", asked Kai.

"Emma asked us to steal a ring, that's for some reason  important to her", I said, looking over at Kai and giving him the photo of the ring "We looked out where the ring is located at and found out that's in a weird ass museum. But it's weirdly well secured, so we didn't know how to get it and decided to make a plan... Pepe said she knew how and that's how we endet up here..."

"Wait, you guys don't know anything about this ring?", asked Kai surprised, while holding the photo in his hand. I looked at the other who seemed as confused as I was. 
"... No?", said Micol. 

"This ring is made from the stone of that meteor that crashed on earth a few month ago. Seriously, how have you not heard of this, everyone was and still is talking about it"

"Weird", said Katja, looking at the wall like she was trying to read something on it.

"Ohhhh I remember now! You're right! Everyone really was talking about it, but I wasn't interested enough to read more into it! I thought this was more like a joke or something", said Lara excited.

"Well no, it wasn't a joke! They made a ring out of it because of that weird colour it had! I mean look at it,, does this look like something normal!", said Kai, holding the photo I gave him up in our direction. Now that he mentioned it, it was actually really weird. It was blue-ish but still see through, and it somehow looked like it was glowing. "On video it's even better, because it sometimes changes it's colour! And people who came in contact with it say it gives you a good energy!"

"Okay, now at this point I think you're fucking with us", said Antonio, looking at Kai sceptically.

"Believe what you want, I don't care. I also don't really think that stuff with the energy is true, but who knows. But why does Emma want to have it?", asked Kai, but I just shrugged my shoulders at him. 

Julia just rolled her eyes. "Because she's Emma. If she looks at something and wants it, she's gonna get it", she said, to which Kai only nodded understanding.

"Alright, so back to business. Does anyone else beside Pepe have a plan?", asked Julia, side eyeing the paper in Kai's hand. 

"What if we go into the museum normally, but then at the ring we somehow try to take it and just run for it?", asked Antonio.

Julia raised her brows at him. "Antonio, I expected more from you... Actually, I didn't expect anything from you. Next!"

"We could try to find the person that is responsible for the ring and blackmail them?", suggested Lara, but Julia only shook her head. 

"There are probably more than one person responsible for it, if the ring is as important as Kai said"

"I think the part with sacrificing Tom is actually a good idea", said Katja and Pepe smiled proudly.

Julia looked at her and then at Tom. "We'll keep that in mind", she said.
If Tom was bothered by anything they were saying he didn't show it. 

"Uh... could you theoretically buy the ring?", asked Micol, looking at Kai.

"I don't know... If so it would be probably billions worth", he answered.

"So there is no point in trying to fake it? Like say we have money but then it's just not real money?", I asked.

"That can't work, if it could the ring would have vanished month ago", sayed Tom.

Then we just sat in silence. Well not really in complete silence, because Kai was eating chips. Who eats chips for breakfast? And where the fuck did he even get them from?!

"Guys, I got an Idea", said Pepe and we all looked in her direction silently pleading her not to speak it out. "Don't worry, this time it's actually good!"
