Chapter 22

Joe's POV.

"Fucking shoot him", I heard Katja whisper from behind me. We already got into the building, and now we seperated to find Kai. I'm with Katja and Lara. In front of us was a guard who was just standing there. He hasn't noticed us yet, so our plan was to wait for a bit till he went away so we can get past him. 

Well, we've been standing here for like maybe 6 minutes already and that guy didn't move from his spot.

"I can't shoot him, Layla said to only do that if we have to do", I whispered back, not liking the idea of not doing what we're told.

"Well do you wan't to stay here for another hour!?", Katja said back, her voice getting a bit louder.

"Psh! Both of you shut up! He's gonna hear us!", said Lara. 

"Lara would you shoot him?", I asked her.

"Uh well... Emma said we can't do that if it's not urgend..."

"Yes, well Lara do you want Kai to rott where ever he is right now?", asked Katja. That also kinda convinced me a bit.

"Alright", I said, aiming the gun at that man's shoulder. Right before I could shoot though, he suddently moved and went away.

"Really now?", asked Katja and Lara started laughing.

We kept going till at some point, my phone began to vibrate. We all jumped slighly and a guard also seemed to notice us. Both girls looked at me with wide  eyes before Katja shot the guard in the arm before he could call someone. He screamed but she quickly went up to him and chocked him till he went unconscious. While that happened I looked at my phone to see what bastard was calling me, but I saw that it was Emma. I picked up hoping that they somehow found Kai or something.

"Emm-"

"Come to room 346", she said before hanging up. I looked at the number of the nearest room next to us. It was 203. 

"Guys we have to go to room 346", I said to the others before we started to look which direction we had to go to. After figuring that out it didn't take long before we stood infront of that room's door. I opened the door after shrugging my shoulders, and saw Emma with two others of her people, standing above a beat up woman.

"Who's she?" I asked after closing the door behind me. 

"She's the big Boss of this place", said Emma and I looked at the woman again. She had a red dress and long black hair. 

"Okay... So where's is Kai now?", I asked.

"That's what we're trying to find out. She wont answer though. I thought you would be good for this job", she said before handing me a gun. I nodded.

"Just don't kill her. I think Kai would want to do that", said Emma. I looked at her confused, but she just shrugged her shoulders. I went to that woman and put the gun at her knee. She still had her head down and didn't even looks up. Without saying anything I shot.  She screamed and finally looked up. I saw dried blood over her face.

"I wont have to ask anything right? You know why I'm here", I said before aiming the gun at her other knee. "Wanna answer bitch or do you want me to do the same thing twice?"

She looked at her one blooded knee before looking at the other. That was enough time to me and I shot. She screamed again, this time louder. 

"Now... you have two eyes... Why though? I think you can see perfectly fine with only o-"

"ALRIGHT! STOP! HE'S IN ROOM 498! FUCKING HELL", she screamed. I stood up and handed the gun back at Emma. She smirked at me. "You're even scarier than me when you're mad", she said before saying to someone that he should watch over that woman on the floor. Then we made our way to that said room. 

"You wanna hear something funny?", asked Emma.
"It wasn't only us who beat her up like that. She was already pretty messed up before we were even here"

I giggled at that, knowing exactling what gremlin caused this.
