Kidnapping my kidnapper

Chapter 18

Joe's POV.

"Alright. Everyone ready to go?" I asked while looking at the 3 unconscious guys we managed to capture. It was way easier then I thought it would be. There weren't even many people in this building, I think only one woman managed to ascape, and all that was left were the other 3. I was still kinda suspicious of this, weren't they supposed to have a meeting right now? Whatever, we can discuss this when we're back. 

Micol took 2 of the unconscious guys and carried them on his shoulders, while I also took one. We got to the entrence of the building and Julia opened the door and got out first.

"Oh shit", she said. 

"What is it?", I asked, kinda hoping that Kai didn't do some crazy shit while we weren't here. But what I saw was far worse. 

There was blood everywhere on the groand, Antonio's car was damaged with mulitple gunshots and Kai's Walkie Talkie was broken on the floor. What the fuck...

"Omg", said Lara, who was standing next to me now. Everyone was just standing here, trying to understand what just happened. 

"My... Car", said Antonio. Lara turned around to him and slapped him hard on his head.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD SITATION TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR CAR RIGHT NOW?!"

"Alright sorry... But no one was talking so thought I should start with something", Antonio said while patting his head. 

"Joe... What do you think happened?", asked Julia.
"Literally no idea", I said.

"Do you... do you think Kai is dead now?", asked Antonio unsure.
I glared at him.

"Geez, okay, sorry. I'm just seeing this blood and all..."

"He was going to die eather way... Although he sure had good IT skills", said Pepe. I knew she was right. I knew that if Kai didn't do well, the others would have just killed him... It's just... he was doing quite well actually. Yes, this is why I'm feeling so angry right now. Because we could have used Kai to hack in other system, but now that he's gone we can't do that anymore. But... then why am I sad?

"Guys, we still don't know if he really is dead", said Katja, looking at the walkie talkie on the ground. "For this kind of situation everyone has a chip in the neck, right? Let's try to see where this leads us"

She's right. How the hell did I forget about that.

"Let's just hope the chip doesn't lead us to a dead body in the dumpster", said Antonio, which lead to him getting his head slapped again by Lara.

"Alright, come on now, the track system is in our base. And if these guys wake up we can also ask them if they know anything", I said. and after that some got in my car and some in Julia's car. Because Antonio's car would have been too noticeable with the gunshots we decided to let it stay here, even if it could actually still drive. Of course Antonio had to bitch about that, but we all just ignored him.

After some driving we arrived and I immediately opened the laptop to see if we could see where Kai is right now. Everyone else gathered around me, and after some time I found what I have been searching for. A red point, which stood for Kai, could be seen in the middle of what looked like some large buildings next to eachother. 

"What the... where is this?", asked Julia.
I looked at the address and saw, that this was about 55 miles aways from us. 
"Huh... how..."

"I think they didn't kill him. I think they kidnapped him", said Tom.
"Why is that dude getting kidnapped again? Was one time not enough for him?", laughed Antonio, but I really was just relieved, that Kai was still alive. At least it seemed that way.

"So, what now?", asked Katja.
"Hey, I think they're waking up", said Lara pointing at the 3 persons on the ground. 

Maybe they know something.
