Quinn
I slowly opened my eyes, blinking against the harsh light of the room. My head throbbed with pain, and my limbs felt heavy and sluggish. When my vision cleared, I realized with a sinking feeling that i was restrained to a hospital bed.
Panic welled up inside me as memories of the chaotic events at Janet's house flooded back. I remembered the darkness, the roar, and then... nothing. What had happened to me? Where was everyone? My heart racing, i strained against the restraints, desperate to free myself and find my friends. But before i could make another move, i noticed three familiar figures standing at the foot of my bed.
My breath caught in my throat as i recognized them - the three scientists from the lab where i had been experimented before Simon saved me. Fear coursed through me at the sight of them, memories of pain and suffering flooding back with alarming clarity.
"What... what are you doing here?" I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. The scientists exchanged a knowing glance, their expressions unreadable. "We're here to help you, Quinn," one of them said, his tone smooth and reassuring.
My heart pounded in my chest as i struggled to make sense of the situation. Help me? After everything they had done to me in the lab?
But before I could protest further, a nurse entered the room, her presence distracting me from the unsettling encounter. She approached me with a sympathetic smile, her eyes filled with concern.
"How are you feeling, Quinn?" the nurse asked, her voice gentle as she checked my vitals.
I hesitated, unsure of how much i could trust her. "I can't let you get away with this," i said, my voice firm despite the fear coursing through me. "I know who you are, and I'll tell the police everything."
To my surprise, the nurse smirked, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Anyone who figures out the system never lived to tell the tale," she said, her voice dripping with menace. "So why do you think you're so lucky?"
My heart raced with fear, but i refused to back down. I couldn't let these people continue their twisted experiments, not if i had any hope of protecting myself and my friends.
Gritting my teeth, i turned his gaze to the night sky, drawing strength from the darkness above. With a determined flick of my wrist, i ripped off the silver neckband that had been placed around my throat, feeling its oppressive weight fall away.
The scientists gasped in horror as they realized what i was doing, but it was too late. I felt a surge of power coursing through my veins as my body began to change, my muscles rippling beneath my skin as i transformed into a werewolf.
