5 minutes. That's how long Veronica was sitting outside on the floor in the woods with Jeremy laid in her lap. She didn't know what to focus on, how she watched Anna and a mysterious man knock Jeremy out and drag him away, or how she watched Stefan take a flamethrower and light a man fire, killing him, or the fact that she actually followed her gut following them all to the woods instead of going to find help. I mean she watches enough horror movies to know not to follow the creepy people into the woods and yet she still did.

All she could think about was what was the truth. Why was Stefan so set on making sure she didn't follow him? What was he hiding? The scenery was like a cult meeting. She could see light coming from where Stefan went and smell fire burning. She could hear faint voices but unable to recognize them or understand them. For a second, she thought about following him, going into the place he went to and seeing for herself what was down there, but then again her body wouldn't move. For some reason, even though she just met him, she trusted him with her life. If he said no, then she listened.

So she sat there and waited until Stefan returns. To pass the time she gently brushed Jeremy's hair away from his face and calmly just whispered, "it's okay Jeremy. I'm here. He's coming back."

Finally she heard someone coming. She set Jeremy down and stood up to see who it was. Shocking her, it was Anna and someone who looked tired and exhausted and dehydrated.

"Anna? Who is that?" Veronica asked making herself known to Anna.

"My mother. I just wanted her back. I'm so sorry. I hope you understand." Anna answered before she sped off once again with her mother.

Veronica did understand. She would do anything to see her mother once again.

"She's not here!" Damon was currently inside the tomb looking for his former vampire lover. But after being inside the tomb for 10 minutes and searching every inch, Katherine Pierce was no where to be found.

"What?" Stefan found him murmuring she's not here over and over again. He watched Damon grab the blood bag from his pocket and throw against the wall and blood dripping to floor.

They didn't know that would be very helpful to someone they knew but unfortunately forgotten.

"Damon we have to go. We need to get out of here." The younger Salvatore begged his brother.

"It doesn't make sense. They locked her inside." Damon ignored Stefan's pleads to leave.

"If we don't leave now, we're not getting out!" Stefan told his brother once again.

This time Damon turned away from his brother looking around once again, "how could she not be in here?"

"It's not worth spending all of eternity down here. She's not worth it." Stefan begged, trying to convince his brother again to come with him. He grabbed his shoulder and soon Elena ran to them also begging him now, "Damon! Please." Before running back to the Bennett witches.
