Veronica felt such a relief that she could sleep comfortably in her own room, in her own bed since talking with her father. She spent so much time between staying with Elena and staying with Caroline that she had only slept in her own bed once or twice this week.
That all came to an end of course when the storm hit mystic falls and woke Veronica up from her sleep. She decided that since she was forced to be up she would go force her father to be up but when she walked out of her room she saw her father already up making coffee.
"Hey, you're up! What's the plan for the day kid?" Alaric asked as he handed his daughter a cup of coffee.
"Um, well I was going to hangout with Caroline but she's leaving for a family party. Her dad's boyfriend's daughter's birthday. She gave me all the lore. But since she's busy I was just gonna go back to Elena's. We still have a lot of questions for each other since you know we found out we were twin sisters."
"Oh well I was thinking that we could go get some food from the grill maybe play a game of pool?" Alaric asked hoping is daughter might cave in.
"Sure, that sounds good." She said giving in.
"Cool! I just gotta stop at the school and pick up some papers and then we head to the grill."

Alaric and Veronica were walking down the school halls when a familiar face stood in front of Rics classroom.
"Well don't you look.....alive."
"You can't hurt him Damon." Veronica said trying to stand in front of her father only for him to pull her back behind him.
"Oh, cheekbones, I can hurt him alright."
"What do you want?" Alaric asked before Elena and Cassidy walked in from around the corner.
"Mr. Saltzman, we need your help." Elena told the man.
They all then started to walk into Alarics classroom but just before they walked in, Veronica grabbed her fathers arm making him turn to look at her, "are okay with this dad?"
"It's fine." He says before they both walk into the classroom.
"Stefan's been taken by some of the tomb vampires." Elena tells the two saltzmans.
"What?" Veronica says as her heart begins to race rapidly.
"He's in the house they are all staying at. Damon's a vampire. He can't get in. We need you." Elena says.
"Wait you're asking for my dad to go into a house full of vampires?" Veronica is very defensive over her father and a little irritated that they would ask him of this.
"I would go-" Elena starts to speak before Damon cuts her off, "but your life is valuable, yours on the other hand."
Ric gave him a look before looking back at Elena as she started to speak again, "Stefan told me about your ring."
