"No not yet. I've got to meet up with his daughter for us to pick one. It's gotta be local and non-internet research, so..."
"Wait daughter?"
"Yeah he asked me to work with his daughter on the paper. He said that he wants her to catch up and that it will help both of us. But like I said it's gotta be local and she's not from here so I don't know how she can help"
"Well that's easy. You got all your dads stuff, you guys can go through it."
"What stuff"
"How the Gilbert's came on the mayflower stuff. All that family lineage from way back. Your dad really loved all that history stuff. It's all boxed up in the closet."

Veronica and her dad walked into the grill. She noticed this was the local town spot. It was full of people eating, drinking at the bar, playing pool and just hanging out. She had a feeling she's going to catch her father at that bar a couple times.
"Oh there he is" he dragged Veronica to meet his student who he noticed was sitting with someone who he thought was very beautiful. She had strawberry blonde hair and a smile that could outshine anyone in the room.
"Mr. Saltzman."
"Jeremy, what's up man, this is my daughter Veronica."
"Oh hey im jeremy"
"Hey, I'm Veronica." She just smiled at him.
He was younger, she could tell. Had a little emo bad boy vibe to him so she's confused why her father would let her work with him let alone talk to him.
"This is my aunt Jenna Sommers." Jeremy introduced his aunt.
"Alaric Saltzman. It's nice to meet you. This is Veronica , my daughter."
"Oh you look a little young to be a dad."
"I'm adopted." Veronica stated very bluntly. She loved dropping that quickly on people to make them awkward.
" Oh, Cool.....um Jeremy was just telling me about his paper. Thanks for giving him another chance." Guess it worked because the Sommers girl quickly changed the subject.
"Oh you know, it was my first day. I wanted to make a good impression. Plus he agreed to work with Ronnie, help her blend in a little." He looked into Jenna's eyes with admiration. Veronica and Jeremy looked at eachother with the same confused face.
"Hey um you're a junior right?" Jeremy asked the Saltzman girl to start a conversation with her.
"Yeah I am. Are you?" She answered hoping she would have someone she knew to be with tomorrow.
