Cassidy fell was born October 31st 1846. Her parents were Thomas and Honoria Fell. Being in one of the founding families meant she was constantly around other founding families especially the Salvatore's.
The Salvatore's had two sons, one who was already a little older by the time Cassidy was born, and another who was born one day after her. Growing up with Stefan Salvatore being so close to her age made them grow close. They befriended each other very quickly and they became inseparable by the time they turned five.
"You know even though you are a girl and Damon says that boys and girls are meant to fall in love, I think we will be okay." A six year old Stefan Salvatore tells Cassidy.
"Ewww I don't think we could ever fall in love. I'm saving all my love for Damon." Cassidy said to her best friend.
"Gross." Stefan says as the two laugh it off.
Being best friends with Stefan also meant that she was always around the Salvatore family more often than usual meaning that included Stefan's older brother Damon Salvatore. Now he was a very charming man, had beautiful jet black hair, baby blue eyes and treated Cassidy like a princess.
"Damon, do you think we will ever find love?" A now 13 year old Cassidy asks Damon.
"I think when the right person comes, Yes we will." Damon says as he rubs Cassidy's head.
"How will we know when we found the right person?" She asks.
"You'll know when the world stops for them. When nothing else matters but them. You'll want them to have everything in life. Soon they will be the most important to you." Damon tells the girl.
"You are the most important person to me Damon." Cassidy says to him.
"No no, that should be Stefan. He's your best friend. He's the one for you." Damon replies to her.
Through out her years of going from child to teen, she grew stronger feelings for Damon, ultimately thinking Damon was the love of her life and when his father forced him to join the army, she was devastated that something could possibly happen to him. She was constantly stressed worrying about Damon but Stefan was also worrying and they had each other to comfort.
"Do you think he's okay? I mean he's all alone." Cassidy asked Stefan one day on one of their daily walks.
"Of course! He's Damon! The strongest man in town. Trust me Cass, we don't have to worry much about him!" Stefan tells his best friend.
Of course he was also worried about his older brother but knew that one of them had to be strong and lift the other up.
One day while Damon was still gone, Stefan had told Cassidy that they would be taking in an orphaned girl about their age, who had lost her family in a tragic accident. The day Katherine Pierce moved in with the Salvatore's Stefan and Cassidy were both intrigued by her.
