Chapter 27: It's How I Feel

Well, well I know I haven't updated in a while but tbh their are so many tests so, I'm really busy. Thank goodness we have a long weekend! Anyways my last little shipping note came out with anonymous results that they like Zayn + Lauren together :( So, guess what I am going to be making a spin-off details will be released as the book comes to a close. If anyone wants to check out old chapters I added gifs, pictures and video's. For example the house which One Direction and Fifth Harmony were in I added a picture, but it's okay if you want to use your imagination too :D Now for most who skipped my author's note. Lauren's POV

The car Harry had rented took a right turn into the street where the house we were all staying in was located on. My eyes travelled to the familiar features of the house and I saw a light in one of the rooms.

"Is someone home?" I asked Harry. I saw him stare in confusion as he saw I was looking at the light too.

"I don't know." He articulated each word slowly. He pulled up into the very large driveway and held the door open for me as I got out of the car.

"Thank you!" I said as I tried to force a smile onto my face.

The past days with Harry and Zayn drama had been really hard on me. I'll admit I had dated before but with the kidnapping tension, Zayn and Harry drama everything was really pressuring on me, especially the song writing, which we had to start. 

I followed Harry into the house, which I hadn't seen in so, long. I missed it and especially everyone else. We knew Liam, Camila, Niall, Louis, Ally, Zayn and Mandy were all still missing so, I wasn't too happy. 

"Let's go." I saw him reach for my hand but I tucked it into my pocket. I admit I had kissed Harry in the hospital but I just wasn't feeling it anymore, I was confused; I'll admit and I needed time.

I saw him wince as I purposely covered my hands. It made me guilty as hell but I couldn't do anything else. We walked into the house in silence. My eyes widened as I opened the door to find Louis, Ally, Zayn and the rest of Fifth Harmony and One Direction seated on sofa's in the large living room.

"You're back!" I saw Ally's eyes widen as she ran over to me. She enveloped me into a bone-crushing hug and I couldn't help but let my eyes travel to where Zayn was now standing. Our eyes met but he tore the gaze apart staring at the floor. Ouch!

I was enveloped in a ton more hugs and answered everything about how I got lost with Zayn, to finding Louis and Ally and then how I found Harry. I ended it with telling everyone about the hospital and Camila, but I deliberately left the kiss out still confused about my feelings. 

"Wow that was some drama I missed." Dinah stated jokingly. I saw a tiny scar on her forehead wondering where it came from.

"I guess we can all say that Camila, Niall, Mandy and Liam are still all gone." Zayn sighed still avoiding my eyes. 

"Uh...yeah." Louis stated awkwardly as I sighed.

"Let's all split up." Ally pitched in.

"Huh?" 

"I mean let's all split up. One group will find Camila and Niall while the other one will try and find Mandy and Liam. Sound good?" 

I sighed mentally. The plan made sense, but would we really be able to find them or would it just end up a wild goose chase. 

"So, let's have Lauren, Normani, Zayn and Harry find Camila and Niall. While Louis, Dinah and I go find Liam and Mandy. Whacha say?" I saw a couple of nods and some of us mumbled a yes.

"I say okay." I stated out loud.

After the discussion we all split to get prepared, it wasn't hard really because we weren't preparing for a battle or anything. As I took a quick glance outside my room I saw Harry and Zayn talking. My mind was set and I knew I had to talk to them either now or never. So, what if I was in the dark, they deserved better than me and I knew that. 

"Guys..." I stepped shyly outside my room. The two of them paused them intense discussion to look at me.

"Lauren?!?" Harry asked in disbelief. I caught Zayn's expression, his eyes shown in an emotion I couldn't even recognize. Instantly guilt poured through me but I was this far I had to do it. 

"Guys, I need to tell you about something." They paused and veered their attention towards me. It's now or never.

Liam's POV

My eyes opened once more, I was in the same mirrored room. I groaned. 

"GOD IF YOU'RE THERE GET ME OUTTA HERE!" I yelled as loud as I could. I swear another day here I was bound to get crazy. 

"Stop screaming." Said the robotic voice. I gasped it was my chance to keep it talking.

"Why do you want me here anyways? I'm useless can't you see." I yelled. 

"I have my reasons." The voice answered.

"Well, you might as well tell me who you are now. It's not like I could tell anyone." A pause.

"It makes no sense. What am I going to do anyways? I can't see you for god sakes."

"You don't need to see me." Good just keep it talking, Liam. 

"C'mon what's the fun?" Another pause. 

"You might as well tell me or else I'll keep referring to you as IT." 

"What do you want to know, Payne?" Asked the voice. I sensed it was a bit annoyed even though it sounded monotone covered in the robotic speech.

"So, you're a girl?" I said. Now I was just shooting stars for the right answer.

"Yes." The voice was quiet but still crystal clear.

"And you're" I wracked my brain for any girls name. Camila? No. Mandy? It's worth a shot. "Mandy?" The time she took to answer felt like years. 

"Liam", this was the first time she had used my first name, "You shot a good star. Now let's talk!" I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. 

You. Shot. A. Star. Talk. "What does that mean?" I mumbled. Than I connected the dots. I gaped and felt my eyes water. It couldn't be.
