BELLAMY WAS IN THE ZONE, ORDERING EVERYONE AROUND. They were all in an awful mood because of Monty, Clarke, and Finn, but they were having faith that they would find their way back. The Blake man was on edge, though. "Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves." He told Raven, who was crouched over and placing landmines carefully in the ground, "Better hope those landmines work. All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades."

"You want to come over here and test one?" she muttered aggressively, and Ivy raised her eyebrows from where she was standing on watch. She expected them to be a bit more flirty after they slept together.

He scoffed, a sarcastic smile coming to his face at her words as he rolled his eyes and began walking the other way. "Cute. I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field."

"Hey," she called after him, and once the landmine was in the soil, she jumped o her feet and followed after him. "I told you, we're going after Finn, Clarke, and Monty in the morning."

"And I told you, nobody leaves this camp," he reminded her, shaking his head.

That was when the redheaded girl stepped in to help the Reyes girl. There was no way in hell she was going to let three of their most valuable people try their best to survive out there when there were Grounders roaming around, trying to kill them. "We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them, show them you give a damn."

"Hey—" the Blake man started, but he was interrupted by the sound of a gunshot and yelling. He ran and turned a corner, the two girls behind him, to see that everything was fine. He turned to Sterling, the boy with the gun. "What the hell is the matter with you?"

"I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day," the young boy defended, so he must have fallen asleep and accidentally pulled the trigger. That could have ended a lot more badly than it did. He was lucky his weapon had been pointed at the sky.

Bellamy slapped him across the face, like he was waking him up. He then stuck his finer in the boy's face accusingly. "We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead Grounder."
