𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

THE ROVER CAME TO A STOP WHEN THEY REACHED THE POLIS CITY LIMITS. Bellamy let Ivy drive all the way back home to pick up Miller and Bryan and then all the way to Polis, and she was very proud of herself. Enzo, Raven, Monty, and Harper had all stayed behind in order to use the computer system at Arkadia to shut ALIE down once they got the kill code. On the not-so-bright side, they figured out that Jasper had lied to them and that he had been chipped at Luna's rig. They all climbed out of the vehicle and took out their weapons. It was dark, but by the time they reached their destination, it would be daylight again.

"Alright, this is where we split up," Roan, the man that had Clarke had brought along, informed them. He pointed to the tunnel that they knew all too well, and he said, "The entrance to the tunnel is right over there."

Bellamy was clearly upset that he was acting like they had never been to Polis before and that this random guy was playing a huge part in their plan that was going to save literally everyonhe. He snapped, "We know where it is."

"I'm gonna need the Flame. Look, this only works if they send Ontari out to get it. If they don't see it, they won't do that. Not much of a trap without the bait," Roan explained, and Ivy thought that there was no way in hell that Clarke would give it to him.

She was extremely surprised when the blonde girl simply handed it over to him no problem. Once it was in his hand, the Bishop girl kind of expected him to kill them all and run. However, he stayed put, and the Griffin girl answered, "Fine. But I'm coming with you."

"No way. That is not the plan," Ivy scoffed. They had mapped everything out already, and Clarke was kind of messing everything up.

"It is now. I'm not letting that out of my sight. And I'm the only one who knows the passphrase," Clarke reminded them. She was not going to tell anyone else because she knew that that knowledge made her valuable. That meant that ALIE would not kill her, which meant that she could probably get pretty close to Ontari. "So you can tell them that without me, Ontari can't ascend."

"Wait a second. Give us a minute," Bellamy told Roan. He gestured for Clarke and Ivy to come over to him, and they did. "Come on, Clarke. You're really willing to trust that guy with your life?" he asked in a whisper. They glanced over at the guy who looked like he could easily take them all out with a single punch because he was so freaking huge.
