"THIS IS PRESIDENT WALLACE," CAGE ANNOUNCED TO THEM. The radio had been handed over to him, and he had separated himself from the rest of the group so that he could speak privately without being disturbed. He seemed a bit antsy as he spoke, glancing around the room to make sure that no one could hear him.

"I have your father," Clarke informed him, and they watched as his face fell. Despite the fact that he had isolated his father and taken over his position, that did not change the fact that it was still his dad. "If you don't let my people go, I'll kill him."

"How do I know you have him?" he questioned, and it was obvious that he was trying to keep his voice steady. However, the did not know that they were watching him as well, so they knew that he was panicking.

The Griffin girl handed the radio to the Bishop girl, who then held it up to the old man's mouth and indicated for him to speak into it to let his son know that he was there and with them. He tried to refuse to speak, but when Bellamy shoved the gun into his side, threatening to shoot, he finally gave up. "Stay the course, Cage."

"You won't do it," Cage scoffed as the walkie was passed back over to the blonde girl. Everyone's eyes were trained on her, and hers remained on the man that she was speaking to, watching as he sneered and racked his brain for ways to save his father while also continuing with the procedures.

"You don't know me very well," Clarke replied, and everyone in that room with her knew for certain that she would do anything for her people, even if that meant killing the entire Mountain. They were trying to avoid that outcome, though. "This ends now. Release my people."

Cage shook his head, even though he did not know that they were watching them. It was more for himself, making the final decision and just praying that they showed some mercy. "I can't do that."

"It would mean the end of our people, Clarke," Dante tried to explain to her again, trying to make her understand that he was just doing what was best for his people, just like she was. She knew that, but she was not going to let any more of her friends die just because she had the same morals as he did.

She spun around and pointed her gun at the man's chest, and everyone's eyes widened, including his. Enzo held his hand up, trying to stop the girl. "Clarke, we need him."
