THEY WERE ON THE SEARCH FOR LUNA. Raven, Monty, Miller, and Enzo all stayed behind since Raven was so weak, and she needed a few people with her just in case. So, Octavia, Jasper, Bellamy, Clarke, and Ivy were in the rover, following a map that they found in Lincoln's journal. Jasper sighed, "It's been an hour since we passed the airplane wreckage. Seeing as we're using a map without any distances, it could be days before we reach the village.:
"At least we know we're going in the right direction," Bellamy pointed out, trying to think on the bright side, which was very uncharacteristic of him. He was usually the guy asking if they were sure that the map led anywhere or if Lincoln maybe messed something up.
"We're running out of daylight," the Jordan kid suggested. They were going to run out of power on the rover pretty soon, which meant that they would be stranded in the middle of God knows where. "We should stop in the sun and recharge the battery."
Clarke gestured above them because they were in very dense jungle, so the sun was barely even visible through the trees. There was no point in stopping, so they might as well keep going and figure out how to get back later. "What sun? We keep going until it dies."
"We keep going until we get to Luna," Octavia agreed.
"Is this her?" Jasper questioned, holding up Lincoln's notebook where there was a drawing of a woman. When Octavia confirmed that that was who they were looking for, the kid raised his eyebrows at them. "What do you think she's gonna say when we show up asking her to put an AI in her head?"
The Blake girl glared at him, and she was really not appreciating how negative he was being about the help that Lincoln had given them before he died for their cause. She sighed, "Lincoln said she helps those that are in trouble. She'll help us too."
"You think she can help us find a better map?" Jasper asked, and Ivy grabbed the journal from him and used it to hit him on top of the head. All of a sudden, the rover stopped, and the redheaded girl looked up to see that there was a giant tree blocking their path.
"We'll backtrack. Find somewhere where the trees aren't so bad," Bellamy assured them, but Octavia had already kicked the door open at the back and climbed out. He looked back at her, but she was already outside. "Hey!"
