𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞

"WHERE ARE THE GUARDS?" BELLAMY ASKED ONCE THEY REACHED POLIS. They were outside the doors, weapons ready in case Ice Nation was waiting for them. They were with Echo, Octavia, and Pike, and Ivy was really reluctant to bring the last person along. "Protocol would be to leave someone behind."

"They did," Octavia informed them, making her way to the front of the other truck that was sitting in front of the entrance. Ivy winced when she saw that they were dead, their throats slit.

Pike immediately headed over to where Echo was standing behind them, blood dripping down her face as war paint. HE pointed a finger at her and got all up in her face, which made Ivy want to knock him upside the head with her gun. "This was your people."

"Screw you!" Echo exclaimed in her language.

"Hey, she warned us," the Bishop girl reminded the man, stepping in between the two before he could do or say something that he might regret when she shot him in the leg for it. He really needed to stop being so awful to their allies. "This proves she was telling the truth."

Bellamy sighed because he knew that the look on Ivy's face meant that she was ready to fight, and he knew that Pike would not win that battle. He may be bigger, but Ivy was much faster and more skilled in fighting. Plus, she would have Echo and Octavia on her side. So, the Blake boy stopped it before it could happen. "We don't have time for this. The attack is at sundown."

"I'm not leaving my blade here," the Blake girl informed them, gesturing to the sign that indicated that there were no weapons allowed inside the summit. It was a good rule, but they were going to need to break it if they were planning on stopping the attack that Ice Nation was planning.

"None of us are. We go in through the tunnels," Echo informed them, and she pointed to a different spot that was in the opposite direction of the normal entrance. She pushed past Bellamy, and Ivy was behind her. Pike was not happy, but he trailed after them as well. "The entrance is this way."

They made it into the summit, but it was definitely not easy. They had to climb about a gazillion stories in an elevator shaft because Pike and Bellamy decided that it was a good idea to kill the men working the elevator. Bellamy took the guard outside the summit hostage and then kicked the door in. His gun was against the man's head, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. Clarke exclaimed. "Bellamy?"
