Chick went for a track walk. He had music playing in his ears as he just took a breather.

He had his hands shoved in his pockets. He thought back to the early years. He remembered him and Strip came to this track when they were kids.

Got to cheer on their favorite racer. He doesn't even remember who it was a this point. He glanced up, looking at the seats.

It was a simpler time. Just watching the cars fight for the title was a dream, but fighting for the title was a nightmare.

Now he was in a three-way battle with a rookie who annoyed the hell out of him, and a man who can't even look at without feeling all of the emotions.

As he walked he saw blue ahead of him. He saw Strip walking with his daughters. They both looked like him... but tanner. They both had long curly hair, and light brown eyes.

Actually... they were a perfect blend of the parents. He wished he could've gotten to meet them.

He took a deep breath. "Hey Weathers!" He said. Strip paused and turned around. His eyes lit up as he looked at Chick.

Chick just clenched his fists at that. Stop being happy to see me. "Who are these ladies?"

Strip cleared his throat. "This girl right here is Lily, she is a McLaren F1 driver, and this crazy one here is Sarah, she's in the infinity series."

"Your daughter's right?" Chick said. Of course they were. He was actually proud of the girls. They had to be 25 now?

"Yeah. Yeah... my twins." Strip said.

The girls waved. They never actually met him. Chick just nodded a bit. "Nice... well. I'll leave you alone." He started to walk past them.

Strip was going to say something.

"Bye Weathers." Chick just walked past him.

Strip just sighed and looked at his girls. "Wanna go get dinner?"

"Who was he dad?" Sarah said. Strip looked at her confused.

"You know who Chick Hicks is." Strip said ruffling her hair.

"Yeah I do... I mean, to you, what is he?" She asked. Strip turned and looked at the man in green who was making more of a gap between them.

"An old old friend."

Chick got back to his motorhome. He opened his cigarette pack and lit one. He inhaled the smoke and sighed a bit.

He just sat there and closed his eyes, just wishing this week would finish already.

Strip ended up going shopping cause he realized he didn't have a suit for an upcoming gala.

Lynda wanted to get a dress to wear, and so did Lily. (Sarah wanted to get a suit instead.)

Lynda would be getting her dress, but she insisted on helping him pick a suit.

Strip was trying on suits in front of Lynda. "Do you like black?" He asked as he turned for her to look.

Lynda didn't look too impressed. "You need a blue suit." She said as she immediately and got the suits looking for one.

She found a velvet blue one. "Here try this." She said as she handed it to him. He took the black jacket off and pulled the blue one on. He did like it more.

"I like this." He said as he gave her another spin. She just chuckled.

"Good." she chuckled as he traded the black pants for the blue matching ones. He already had shoes for it.

"Why haven't you gone and picked out a dress, Sunshine?" He said as he took the dress shirt he was trying on off.

"Cause I wanted to help you pick a suit." She said as she watched him.

"Never had a problem getting a suit." He said as he pulled his normal T-shirt on. Lynda just chuckled and shrugged.

"You would've gotten the black one right?" She said as she ruffled his hair. He just laughed and nodded.

"I would've."

"Exactly."

Eventually Strip was sitting in the women's gown section, waiting for her to come out. She had tried on about 5 dresses already.

She didn't feel happy in the others. So, he patiently waited for her to decide.

He looked around when she suddenly came out in a blue dress. It glittered as light hit it. She didn't look... happy in it.

Strips jaw dropped. "Honey that's the one."

She just looked in the mirror and shook her head a bit. Strip stood up a bit. "Lynda?"

"I shouldn't be wearing a dress like this anymore."

Strip was taken back. "And who told you this?"

"Myself... and people who criticize the way I dress." She said as she smoothed the dress out a bit.

"I'm almost sixty... I dress like I'm 20." She said as she looked at him. Strip couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"And?"

She looked as if she was frustrated. Strip and took a deep breath.

"Hun... I don't care what dress you pick cause you're gonna look stunning either way. But... I don't want you to not pick a dress just cause someone says you need to dress your age." He said as he took her hands into his hands. She didn't look convinced.

He thought. He turned her around to look on the mirror. "Do you agree you look amazing in this dress?"

"I mean..."

"Yes or no hun."

"Yes."

"And that's all that matters." He kissed her hand. "Plus..."

He smirked a bit and pulled her towards him a bit. "I think you look absolutely stunning. Like a goddess walking among mortals. Makes me wonder why you married me! Just too beautiful for me."

Lynda just smiled and then laughed. "Oh hush."

She looked back in the mirror. She twirled a bit. Strip whistled as he looked at her. She smacked his shoulder.

She looked in the mirror and smiled a bit more. "Imma get this dress."

Strip smiled a bit and kissed her cheek. "Atta girl. Do you need shoes or any jewelry? We can pick those out next." He said as he pulled his jacket on.

"Yeah. I need those both. Is that okay?"

"Anything you want sunshine."
