Strip got her some ice cream at a little shop that was open all night. She sat on the hood of his car as he leaned against it, his back to her as he ate his.

She had a smile on her face as she did. She glanced at him, looking at him from behind. "You're tall." She said.

She saw his shoulders flinch and then he turned towards her. "Am I? Didn't notice." He teased.

She just laughed. "How tall are you?"

"5'0." He said getting another laugh out of her.

"No really, how tall are you?" She said with a chuckled as she took another spoonful of ice
Cream

"I am, 6'1." He said as he sat on the hood of his car next to her.

"Ahhh. I'm 5'5."

"Trust me I can tell." He teased. She just smacked his shoulder as she finished her ice cream.

She tossed it into the trashcan in front of them. He did the same. He looked up at the sky looking at the stars.

Lynda starts to fidget a bit. "I want to know your opinion on my situation."

He looks at her as he puts his hands in his pockets. "I can't tell you what to do sunshine, but..."

He walked back over and sat next to her. "... if you know what he's doing is hurting you, why stay in a relationship with him?"

He turned his head towards her and saw her looking at him. "Cause if he truly loved you, he wouldn't mentally hurt you... and wouldn't physically hurt you like you said."

Lynda looked at her hands and picked at her nail polish. "You're right..."  Strip could tell she went through a lot, and because of Jackson she  didn't have anyone to lean on.

"Thanks Strip." She said quietly.

"No problem, Sunshine."

He walked over and extended a hand to her. "Ready to get going?"

She held his hand slightly. "Yeah." She jumped off the hood of the car as he opened her door. She got in, and shortly after they were off.

They were on the highway, he was tapping the wheel as he listened to some country music. He hummed quietly as she sat there, watching the cars go by.

"Can you be there when I break up with him...."

Without hesitation.

"If you want me there, I'll be there." He said as he pulled into his hotel parking. "Just letting you know, chick is in there and so is Tex. Is that okay?"

"Of course." She said looking at him.

He got out and beat her to opening her door. She stepped out holding her purse. "How are your injuries." She said as she walked next to him.

"Still hurt. But better." He said as he waved to the lady at the front desk. She smiled and waved as he made his way to the elevator. He pressed the 9th floor as she got situated.

Chick was in the room getting mad at the football game on TV. "Come on now! It isn't hard to score a touchdown!" Chick said gesturing towards the TV wildly.

"Says the damn race car driver." Tex said as he read through some files.

"I would be a better football player than all of them."

"Boy shut up. You know you won't..." he said as the front door opened. Chick was now arguing with Tex.

"I'm back." Strip said as he kicked his shoes off. He walked into the living room, letting Lynda take her time get in.

"Is Lynda aight?" Tex asked as he look above his reading glasses at Strip.

"Yeah. Letting her take her time and get in here." He said as he walked to his room looking for the smallest shirt he has, and the smallest pants.

"Chick! Come here I need your pants."

Chick raised a brow but smirked. "Heh, kinky." There was silence but then a slipper hit Chicks head. "Ow! Bitch-" he got up and went to fight Strip.

Lynda walked into the living room. Tex looked at her and took his glasses off. "Hey kid! You alright? Strip ran out of here like a bat out of hell when you called."

She chuckled a bit. "Yeah I'm okay. Just having a rough day." She said as the sound of crashing and cursing came from the other room.

She looked confused. Tex sighed. "If you boys don't QUIT IT!"

Chick came out of the room looking a bit scruffier. "Note to self, he can still fight when he's injured."

Strip came out with some clothes. "Hell yeah I can..." he walked over to Lynda. "Here. This is the smallest shirt I have, and these are some shorts since chick is bigger than I thought despite being short as hell."

"I am NOT short!"

She held them carefully. "Thank you..." she just realized she didn't even get out of the dress she was wearing.

"Where's the bathroom?" She asked looking up at him. "Down the hall." He said as he motioned. She nodded and went there.

Once the door shut to the bathroom, chick cleared his throat.

"Well...?"

Strip shook his head. "I might fight Jackson if I see him again." He took his jacket off as he said that.

"Ooo Tex look he's mad!"

Strip glared at Chick. Chick knew to stop. "This shit is serious... I don't want to see his face." He walked to his room to get ready for bed.

Strip got changed into a tank top and sweats, and just laid down. He was still in pain so, he needed to rest.

Lynda came out of the bathroom I changed into Strips clothes. Tex looked at her. "Hey kiddo. Wanna come sit and watch the game?"

She nodded a little bit. She sat down next to Tex and watched the game.

"Was everything okay... with whatever you called Strip for?" He asked as he highlight something.

"Well... he helped me figured out what I need to do." She said as she looked at him, and then looked around the room wondering where Strip was.

Tex chuckled and motioned with his head to the back room. "Make sure to knock. He's probably whining about his injuries on his own."

"He probably doesn't want to be bothered then." She said as she looked back at the TV.

"Nah... don't worry kiddo. He doesn't mind you interrupting him."
