Beyoncé | Los Angeles, California
Sitting in the living room working on my computer, I heard the front door open and close. I turned my head to see Shawn walking in with his clothes all disheveled and he was slightly limping. He reeked of alcohol and tried to lean over and kiss me when he got closer but I quickly dodged my head.
"Where have you been, Corey?" I asked him as I stood up and moved a bit away from his presence. "Out. Where have you been?" He asked me, walking closer to me. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you talking about? I've been here working" I told him. He snorted, "you lying" he told me, walking all in my personal space.
I don't know what he was drinking but it obviously has his mind all kinds of fucked up.
"Shawn if you don't back the hell up" I said, pushing him back slightly. Upon my hands touching his shoulder, he reached up and grabbed my wrists and yanked me more into him. He held them tight as I tried to get out of them.
"Let me go, Shawn" I grunted as my wrist began to hurt. "Where were you the other day?" He asked. His lips were centimeters from mine. "What day?" I asked, wiggling my hands. "You went to a restaurant with Blue and some people. Who were you with?" He asked roughly. He moved one of his hands from my wrist and raised it to grip my upper arm.
"they were friends Shawn—fuck" I semi yelled when my back hit the nearest wall. I was breathing heavily, trying not to cry as my back was beginning to ache and my right wrist that was still enclosed in his grip felt like it was starting to bruise. "Stop fucking lying Beyoncé" his drunken words slurred.
My ears perked when I heard footsteps coming down the steps. I used all my might to push Shawn back off of me just as Blue came into view.
"Mommy?" She asked when she saw me. I hurriedly walked over her, trying to get her away from Shawn's state. "Hey baba, what's wrong?" I asked her, walking her towards the kitchen. She looked back at Shawn who was now walking upstairs, tripping over his own feet still.
"I heard something hit the wall, I thought you fell" she told me. I shook my head, "no, I'm good baby" I told her, subconsciously rubbing my now bruised wrist out of Blue's line of sight. "You were crying" she stated more than asked. I sighed, "I'm fine Blue" I told her.
She gazed at me and I started to feel that feeling I felt when I first met Solina. She had the same antagonizing gaze that her mama had and it made me feel like she was looking through me.
"Why's he here?" She asked me and a shrugged, "I don't know. Have you talked to Lina?" I asked her, not wanting to talk about Shawn. She nodded, "yep, just got done talking to her. She told me to come check on you when we were talking that's when I heard the noise and hurried down here since I was scared" she said the last part softly.
