Love In Denial

Avni POV

It's been more than 45 minutes since they left me here but I don't know what to do now. This heavily embroidered lehanga is heavier than the mountain Himalaya.

The place where I am stuck is at Chauhan palace, and I am sitting in a room on a bed with plenty of flowers and disgusting fragrance and all this drama for my dear husband who talked only once in this duration of 6 months.As, if I am dying to talk.

We have already settled everything between us, he doesn't need me I don't like him, the problem is now that I have to deal with him with his egoistic ass.

A knock on the door broke my thoughts and when I saw it was not him it was a dadi , maa and badi maa at the entrance of the door

“Avni are you okay" badi ma muttered and stepped inside the room.

“Yes, badi maa I am okay" i uttered sweetly

“Avni it's a gift for you, it's my dadi saas jewelry set I hope you like it" dadi ji muttered, and I took the set from her hand and saw it was really a beautiful set.

Dadi ji is the head of the family I think no one denies her nor gets against the only person whom I think she can't control is Ranvijay.

Ranvijay.

The man whom I am married to is rich, tall, handsome and everything a woman requires but happily that woman is not me.

We have met each other only 3–4 times in all this time, I never saw someone saying anything to Ranvijay.

He is not scary or looks dangerous, It is just around him everything automatically gets in his control.

“It's beautiful dadi ji , thank you" i uttered and tried to get up from the bed, so I could touch her feet, but she denied shaking her head.

“Avni I am here to talk about you something I know you are here new so you will take some time to adjust take your time but never forget you are now Chauhan's daughter-in-law and your life and responsibility are now changed. And one more thing never even in dreams think that you or any person will be chosen before Chauhan's empire's reputation until then I am alive. “ She says and patted my head once and left. Her tone was gentle, but her words were anything but gentle.

The start of my new life is not going worse than I expected. Maybe the bar my loved one has set is really quite low.

Bad Maa-and maa looked at me with sympathetic eyes,  maa looks like she is somewhere lost.

“She isn't that bad" badi maa whispers and takes one step near the bed.

“Ya I saw that"

I wanted to tell her but I didn't because badi maa is really a sweet person she and maa both are doctors but maa usually stays at home because of her health issues.

“It's okay badi maa before agreeing for the marriage I knew what I am doing” yes, he came with a proposal that he don't want to get married and that's why agreed.

I wanted to get rid of that place without any restriction and Ranvijay was the best escape.

“You don't worry beta your maa and badi maa will always be with you right, Shatakshi? “ She says while touching maa shoulder and maa nodded with a small smile.
