Colton
The dinner we had was incredibly enjoyable, and the kids were so excited that they couldn't stop talking about the amazing adventure we had at the amusement park. They couldn't get over the incident of me nearly falling during our boat ride. If it hadn't been for Luna, who caught my arm just in time, I would have ended up submerged in the water, enjoying an unintended bath.
Luna and I were both aware of what really happened. Our intention was simply to make the children laugh, so we were just acting on it.
"Dad, can we go to the amusement park again on Tomorrow?" Joshua looked at Sebastian with a desperate expression and asked him, pleading. "I won't pee in my pants, I promise."
"Tomorrow is Friday. Dad is going to work. We've got karate." Samuel reminded his younger brother.
"Oh yeah! I love karate." Joshua agreed.
"Can we bring Uncle Colton and Aunt Luna if we go to the amusement park again? It's way more fun when they're with us," Zoe interrupted.
"If they're not busy. Okay?" Sweet reassured her daughter and then looked at me.
"No problem. We can make that happen. We'll find a day that works for us. Isn't that right, Luna?" I looked at Luna, who was eating sushi.
"Yeah, sure." She agreed, and the kids shouted 'yay!!'
"Oh, by the way, our vacation in Dubai was mind-blowing." Sweet was super thrilled. "We loved it because we got to see so many cool places."
"Exactly." Sebastian agreed, "thanks bro, for that. Sweet had a truly enjoyable experience during her camel ride."
"I can't believe it, mommy! You rode a camel?" Zoe was totally shocked. "I wanna ride a camel, too."
"Soon, princess. We'll all go to Dubai." Sebastian reassured his kids.
Our conversation went from Dubai to the kids' school performance. Sweet and Sebastian were super proud of their kids. Samuel is smart and artistic, Joshua is all about sports and outdoor stuff, and Zoe is totally into everything.
"I wanna be an astronaut, an actress, a car racer, a gymnast, a superhero... and just like Taylor Swift," Zoe said cutely, and we kept on listening to her blabbing about her future dreams.
"By the way, Colton. You're fixing Glamour now. What do you think? Is it too much of a mess to work on?" Sebastian wondered.
I glanced at Luna, who was all ears at the mention of her company.
"Yeah, it is workable through adequate implementation and monitoring. I am optimistic that it will be a resounding success when it resumes its normal operations." I answered and saw Luna smiled in agreement, then she said.
"He just started last Monday, gathering data and interviewing the staff."
"That's the preliminary." I nodded. "When I have everything I need, the employees will receive extensive training, new policies will be implemented and the organization will undergo a restructuring process... Additionally, there is a possibility of acquiring new machinery and equipment."
"Whew! That's tough work. It's like starting a new company." Sweet said, then sipped her wine.
"Any idea how long it'll take to get back on track?" Sebastian curiously asked.
My anticipated timeframe is roughly three months."
"That will be in time for my wedding." Luna informed us.
When she mentioned her wedding, it reminded me of my other goal. Which was more important.
"Well, that will be a double accomplishment for you and Barry." Sweet said to Luna. "It's a fresh start for your business and a celebration of your marriage."
