Trigger Warning - Mention of blood, violence and death. (Also unedited)
"NAKUL! Take Prati to the medical camp. Come on Arjun. Please. Please come with me. We have to find Thanu." Yudhishthir knew both of his brothers were grieving for their sons but his own heart was screaming in fear for their only daughter.
Without wasting a moment, Nakul took Prati in his arms while Bheem reluctantly followed leaving the corpse of his son now laying on the couch. Draupadi had now regained a bit of consciousness but the shock was preventing her from thinking straight. She mumbled her sons' name in a constant chant. "Sen....Som......Prati...Kirti....Nik...putro" Seeing the royal and regal queen's devastated state, even Lord Vayu started blowing winds lamenting for his grandson and showing his sorrow along with his daughter in law.
Elsewhere outside the Vijay Shivir
Krishna ran along with Suthanu's limp body in his arms. "Stay a little longer putri. Bhanu is coming. You are going to be ok." Mumbling and coaxing the unconscious body of his dear daughter-in-law he met Yudhishthir with Arjun both of whom froze seeing them.
Yudhishthir heart broke down on seeing his beautiful and brave daughter, the pillar of her brothers laying unconscious in her uncle's arms. Her white milky dress bleeding with the red stain of blood that covered her bruised and battered body. Her hair dishevelled and most of her jewellery discarded. He rushed along with Krishna to the medical camp as Arjun tried to take-in the situation and keep his mind straight for a while. Because he knew that Suthanu was in great peril and fatal danger if not treated immediately.
Rushing into the camp, which was fortunately one of the only ones fully standing, the physicians were now awake treating the remaining alive soldiers from the massacre. They quickly opened the royal medical wing and laid the princess on the bed. The Ayurvati and nurses were called to assist them while the Mukhya Vaidya started the primary analysis and diagnosis.
Quietly, Yudhishthir occupied the seat next to his daughter and kissed her forehead when his body became paralyzed upon seeing the hidden parting of her hair.
It was filled with vermillion (sindoor) while a small chudamani rested up on her hair tucked underneath a cleverly made bun. He felt as if lightening struck him when he took it the signs of marriage on his daughter. His mind soon came to the conclusion that he had lost the chance to marry his daughter and do her kanya dan which was a privilege for every father.
He looked with teary eyes towards Arjun and Krishna both having knowing look. Another shock came on him as he realized that both of the mentioned knew about it. "Jyest.." Arjun tried to speak but the eldest Pandav stopped him and went outside to clear his head. Arjun moved towards the seat previously occupied by Yudhishthir and took Suthanu's hand in his own as Krishna followed the Dharmaraj out of the tent.
Yudhishthir's mind was swirling with emotions as he struggled to keep every one of them in check. Anguish, pain, Confusion, Sorrow and tinge of Anger and Disappointment all tried to drown him at once as Krishna approached him understanding his turmoil.
