M I C H A E L 'S P O V
I was putting my books in my locker, and taking out the ones I need to put in my school bag to take home. It's been one week since Calum called me. He hasn't gone to school, he's hardly ate, and he looks a lot worse than how he did last week. He's gotten skinnier and paler. It looked like all the fun and happiness was taken out of the boy. He looked so tired all the time, but the most he moves is to go to the toilet. His parents are worried, they know what happened. The second day they got very worried and asked me as I went downstairs to try to make him something light to eat.
They looked at me with such a sad look on their faces, like someone has just killed a puppy. When I told them what's happening with Calum, his mum burst into tears. I felt so sorry for her and her husband. He looked like he wanted to cry as well, however he didn't. He comforted Calum's mum instead and took her to their room. I didn't see them leave their rooms after that, but then again, I hardly left Calum's side, unless it was to go to school.
I collected his work for him, did it, but with a much sloppier handwriting and handed it in. When the teachers asked where he was I told them Calum was sick and will most likely be gone for another while. They didn't look too happy but they mumbled an "okay" and let it slide. They look pleased when I give back the work that Calum 'did' but didn't question how he knew all the answers, except for one or two. They didn't question how it was done almost immediately. They took it, and I felt lots of relief.
I zipped my bad and closed my locker. Turning around, I bumped into someone, causing me to look up. I was greeted by my two blond best friends. However, they didn't look too pleased with me. Ashton had his eyebrows raised and he looked very annoyed. Luke had his arms crossed around his chest.
"Hi?" I said, but it came out as more of a question. I needed this to be fast, I had to go see Calum since I promised to come over today, just like I had promised I would be over the past week. He didn't speak to anyone but me, not even Mali and he and Mali are closer than Luke's skinny jeans.
"What has really happened to Calum? No 'sick' shit because no one goes out for an entire week without picking up their phone. His parents aren't even answering anything that had to do with Calum. It's like the boy magically disappeared, but we know that you know where he is," Ashton said, annoyed.
"He's sick, Ashton." I half-lied. He is sick. He can hardly move, he can hardly eat. He's gotten much skinnier, he is sick. But it's not the type of sick they would ever expect.
"Bullshit," Luke said. Everything about the two in front of me screamed annoyed.
"He is," I whispered. "But not like that."
"Then like what?"

Sighing, I opened Calum's room. The two blonds who refused to let me leave without them knowing what is happening to our best friend followed me inside Calum's room. I didn't tell him that the two will be coming because I know he probably did not want them to see him in this state, but I had no other choice. It was either show them or have them annoyed at me for the rest of their lives and the latter did not sound nice at all.
I moved to the side, allowing them to see the state Calum was in. He was in bed and looked paler than ever. It was clear he wasn't in good health at the moment. I heard the a gasp emit the mouths of the two boys.
"What are they doing here?" His voice was rough and scratchy. It hasn't gotten any better, only worse. He speaks a lot less now, and maybe that was why.
"They wanted to know what happened to you," I said, sadly. He didn't reply, only looked at the boys. He didn't seem annoyed or angry at the fact I brought them. He gave them a weak smile and motioned for them to come closer.
They moved closer to him, Ashton sat on the end of the bed, whereas Luke stood. I stayed in the corner I was in awkwardly. Ashton and Luke looked sad, almost like they regretted asking me about how Calum was. They began to speak, and that was the first time I saw Calum really smile in a week.

We all sat down in his living room. Calum wanted to leave his room, something he hadn't done in a week. He said it was making him go crazy, it was so dark and awfully boring. I couldn't help but agree, and I was only there with him for half the day. We were now trying to find a way to help Calum. None of us enjoyed seeing Calum like this, tired and weak. Even if they haven't stayed with him all week, they could see how much it was killing him.
Everyone was biting their bottom lip, trying to figure out a way to help Calum. I would look at Ashton and Luke, they would open their mouths then shut it right back, and go back into intense thinking. We at there in the same position for a good hour until somebody spoke up.
"I'm not an expert or anything," Ashton said. He was looking down at the ground, almost like he was too afraid to see anyone's reaction to what he has to say. He was fiddling with the sleeves of his sweater and shaking his leg. The state he was in began to make me feel more anxious. I could feel my heart beating, fast and it felt like my blood was rushing even quicker. "Cal, but you need real help. I think you should go to rehab."

Some of your reactions to the last post I still laugh. This book does have a proper ending, it will not end in a zombie apocalypse (sorry for spoiling it for u guys). The post was because Helene (my babe) kept sending 5SOS videos and I was already very emotional from Malum hour on twitter, so I said "I'm killing everyone off loverboy." So that was the backstory behind the last chapter. I am still getting threats from the squad if I kill anyone off. #PrayForNeam2k15
I'm really sick, which was why I couldn't update faster, so if I disappear, I'm probs in a lot of pain and crying to Abby about how sick I am. I'm sorry for any mistakes, blah blah blah, we all know I can't type to save my life, anyways.
