Five days had passed. Ringo and I were still playing the ignoring game. I could totally feel he had no plans of interacting with me.
"Are you done with our assignment in Sociology?" Andres asked Bullet as we walked going to our classroom.
"Yeah. Someone did it for me." Bullet leered.
"Don't tell me you paid someone to do if for you again," said Andres.
"Nope. My mom paid for it," he answered.
Andres and I dashed him a look. Bullet's mom had a reputation for being very strict, especially in his academics, so we were quite surprised when he said that.
"Seriously?" Andres reacted.
"Yeah. But don't get the wrong idea. Mom hired a tutor for me. Of course, I used her into my advantage. Tutor na taga-gawa ng requirements."
"Her? You mean your tutor is a girl?" Andres raised his brows.
"Yeah!" he answered while wiggling his eyebrows, like an old nasty maniac.
"You better take your tutoring session seriously," I said without looking at him. "This is our last semester before graduation, so you better be good."
Bullet rolled his eyes. "Okay, sir," he expressed in a bored tone.
As we continued walking, I noticed someone dancing in the hallway. It was Murphy Amarillo, one of the performing arts student. While dancing, he lost his balance, dahilan upang mabangga niya si Bullet. The worst part was he even stepped on my friend's shoes.
Bullet glared at Murphy. "You're stepping in a 20,000 worth of leather shoes."
"Sorry. Hindi ko sinasadya."
Despite of his sincere apology, Bullet grabbed him on his collar. "Did you just say sorry? Bakit? Mababayaran ba ng sorry mo ang sapatos ko?"
Murphy's lips flattened. He was silent, but he didn't look afraid.
I drifted my gaze to the person, and my eyes widened when I saw Ringo's face.
"Bitawan mo siya," mahinahon niyang sabi.
"And who are you?" Bullet snapped him a look, still maintaining his tight grip to Murphy's collar.
"I'm Ringo, one of your classmate in Mr. Torres' subject," he said. His voice sounded peaceful, but there's a glint of fear in his eyes.
"Oh! One of the useless fag of performing arts program."
His words ticked me off. "That's too much, Bullet," I said calmly but with force.
He shifted his eyes on me. "Too much? I'm just telling the truth."
"Kahit na," saad ko. "You don't need to be rude just because someone stepped on your shoes."
Bullet sniffed while glaring at me. I stepped on his pride, but I knew he wouldn't fight me over nonsense things. He had the urge to engage in a fight, but he just brushed it off and walked away.
