The operation to arrest Maynard was a success. He was detained and would undergo trial. With all the evidence and witnesses against him, he would not be able to escape his crime. Maynard would definitely have to face the consequences of his actions.

It's been a week and no one from Northside High knew about what had happened. The Local Police of Montana didn't even release a statement to the public, and they made sure nothing would come out about Ringo or any of the other victims.

"How's my baby?" I voiced as I reached for his hand.

"Feeling better," he said and gently gripped my hands. We're at the library, looking for something to read.

One of our requirements in Language subject was to read any old folktales and make a relfection paper on it.

As we walked through the library, we held each other's hand, feeling a sense of romance in the air.

"The Little Mermaid," I said, making Ringo dash a look at the book I was holding.

"By Hans Christian Andersen?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yes. the one that you told me. I think I found the book I needed for my relfection paper."

"Let's start reading, then," he said and raised the book called The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

We chose to read the book in the corner of the library, sitting on the floor and leaning against each other's backs.

The quiet atmosphere helped us focus on reading. Sitting alone with him brought me a great sense of calmness. His presence made me feel at ease.

I thought I was going to lose Ringo. It's a relief to see him running towars me and gave me a warm hug back then.

The days became better than before, but it made me feel anxious to feel happiness, because I feared that I might fall into another depressing situation.

"Ringo," I said, still leaning on his back.

"Hmm?" he voiced.

"Let's travel after graduation. I want to spend another magical vacation with you," I suggested.

"Sure, let's do that," he agreed.

The world continued to spin, and our time engrossed in our final school requirements and graduation practices. It was a hectic moment, but an exciting time. When I had the chance, I also paid a visit to Andres as well as Ringo's Mom.

"Ringo," I called again. "I have news for you."

"Ano 'yon?" tanong niya.

"I received a letter of acceptance from UK. They want me to be a part of their faculty once I finished college."

"You mean, they want you to handle their basketball team?" he asked, raising eyebrows.

"Yes!" I beamed. "Actually, I feel excited about it. I want to have my own team that I could coach and bring to international league."
