My trip to San Sebastian was truly a wonderful experience, and it became extra special because of Ringo. Isang araw lamang kami doon ngunit napakaraming naganap.

Now, we had to focus on another school activity, the Senior Ball. After our basketball training, I went to Lavander Plum to pick up my tuxedo. Nang pumasok ako sa loob ay bumungad sa'kin si Bullet na mukhang sinusukat rin ang pinatahi niyang damit.

He's in the fitting area while facing a huge mirror. Tatawagin ko sana siya, ngunit natigilan ako nang may isang babaeng lumapit sa kanya at hinawakan siya sa kanyang balikat.

"I think this one fits you," she said while holding a jet-black necktie.

"You think so?" said Bullet. "Let me try it, then."

"Here," she said and handed the necktie to Bullet.

Tinulungan ng babae si Bullet na ilagay ang necktie, kaya naaninag ko ang kanyang mukha. My eyes snapped out when I realized who the girls was.

"Dayana?" I said, and I wasn't able to control the loudness of my voice.

Sabay na napatingin sa'kin si Bullet at ang kasama niyang babae na si Dayana. Both were having a surprised look on their faces.

"Winston," said Bullet. "What are you doing here?"

I paused for a moment before giving him an answer. "I came to pick up my tuxedo for Senior Ball."

He nodded gradually, and I could feel the discomfort through his eyes. Si Dayana naman ay iniwas ang mukha, tila nahihiyang lumingon sa akin.

"Oh," Bullet voiced. "By the way, this is Dayana."

My eyebrows knitted for what he said. I knew who Dayana was since she's one of our classmates at Mr. Torres' subject.

"Alam kong hindi ako mahilig makipag-usap sa school, pero hindi ibig sabihin ay hindi ko kilala si Dayana," sabi ko. "The question here is why are you here with her?"

Bullet bit his lips, seemed trying to construct a sentence that would make me believe his cover up.

"I'm his tutor," Dayana managed answering in a rush.

"Yeah," followed Bullet with a face that had gone pale. "Nagpasama lang ako sa kanya dahil katatapos ng tutor session namin kanina."

Kumunot ang aking noo. Sa pagkakaalam ko ay katatapos lang ng basketball training namin kanina at naroon din si Bullet, kaya paano sila nagkaroon ng tutor session ni Dayana?

"Bro, you're not good at lying," I said. "Katatapos ng basketball training natin kanina, remember?"

Bullet's mouth parted with his widening eyes. Matapos ang ilang segundo ay napabuntong-hininga siya at lumingon kay Dayana.

"I think we're busted," Bullet told her.

"Totally busted," said Dayana while shaking and pressing her head.

Tumawa naman ako ng mahina, natatawa sa hitsura ng dalawa. They snapped me a look, probaby confused why I was laughing.

"Bullet," I said. "If you don't want to say anything, I respect you. Let's just pretend that I didn't see you with her here."

I was about to turn around and get my tuxedo, but I stopped when someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Winston," Bullet called, so I turned to face him. "To be honest, Dayana and I are dating."

I wanted to express shocked face, but I already expected it was coming. Bullet looked troubled with his own statement, while Dayana was only silently standing behind him. I truly understand them. Tulad namin ni Ringo ay nagtatago rin sila, natatakot sa posibilidad na mangyari kapag nalaman ng iba ang relasyon namin.
