Hindi kami madalas na nagkasama ni Ringo sa Camp Hennery, ngunit naging buo pa rin ang aking saya. He trusted me, giving me his whole heart, body, and soul. It was my first time, and that first time would always be my favorite even how many times it would happen to us.

We went back to Montana City, carrying the memories we had at Camp Hennery. So many things happened in that place, but the highlight was my moments with Ringo.

"Mukhang natuluyan ka na nga," sabi ng isang nakakainis na boses. Of course, who would that be? My dickhead brother, Austin.

"Ano na naman?" inis kong sabi. We're at the living room.

 "Stop smiling. I can't stand it."

I squinted my eyes at him. "Why don't you just leave me alone?"

"Why don't you just go to UK now? Para naman mabura na sa bahay na 'to ang pagmumukha mo."

I offered him an evil smile. "You know what, Austin, no matter what you say to someone who is full of happiness, you will not be able to make them angry. Kaya huwag mo ng aksayahin ang oras mo sa'kin dahil hindi kita papatulan."

He raised his chin. "Really? Let's see how long your smile will last."

Matapos niyang sabihin ang mga salitang 'yon ay umalis na siya at pumunta sa kanyang kwarto. It's not new to me to hear confusing words from him, and I knew his words meant something deep.

Nag-desisyon na lamang akong magbihis dahil mayroon kaming basketball training ng hapon. After showering, I put on my jersey and my Nike Air Max. While preparing, I heard noises downstairs. Nabahala naman ako nang makarinig ako ng pamilyar na boses.

I ran downstairs, and then I saw Lolo having an argument with my dad. Naroon din sina Austin at Mom.

"I want you to leave this house right now!" Lolo yelled, and his face was in mad purple.

"Wala kang karapatan para palayasin ako o ang pamilya ko sa bahay na 'to!" sigaw ni Dad kay Lolo. "I owned this house! I worked hard for the money I used to build this family!"

Lolo pointed his finger to him. "You have the guts to say that well in fact, without my money and my company, you have nothing!"

Dad scoffed. "Without me, the Ruby Wine Corporation had been gone for a long time. Nakalimutan mo na ba ang mga sakripisyo ko para lang maitaguyod ang kumpanya mo? Sino ba sa mga anak mo ang maaasahan mo? Hindi ba't ako lang?"

"Ang taas ng tingin mo sa sarili mo! Wala kang utang na loob!" sigaw ni Lolo at mabilis na sinapak si Dad.

Napaupo naman si Dad kaya mabilis akong lumapit kay Lolo para pigilan siya. Even Austin who looked entertained with the situation ran towards Lolo and helped me from stopping him.

"Tama na, Lo," pakiusap ko.

"Please, kumalma ka, Dad," sunod na sabi ni Mom habang inaalalayan si Dad sa pagtayo.

"Bitawan niyo ako!" sigaw ni Lolo, ngunit hindi namin siya sinunod at lalo pang hinigpitan ang hawak sa kanya.

"Hayaan niyo siya!" malakas na sabi ni Dad. "Sanay na ako dyan sa Lolo niyong 'yan! I could't even count with my fingers how many times he hurt me with his hands. I still know the feeling how you he hit me with his whip and chains. Nakatatak lahat sa isipan ko 'yon, Dad!"

My father's eyes went teary, which surprised Austin and me. It was the first time Dad showed that vulnerable side of him.

"I did it for you! To fix your life!" Lolo shrieked.
