"I got the car, you're driving," Regulus grumbles tossing Liliena the keys to their rental car. She rolls her eyes as she catches the dangling keys mid-air and moves towards the right to get in the driver's seat.
As she put the key into the ignition, she left the door open to hear Regulus put the two travel bags into the back seat of the car instead of the trunk. "Technically I covered everything, including the cost of the car."
"But who went in there and filled out hundreds of paperwork and signed the car in their name?"
"Oh, I see, would you prefer the mob from the train follow us here instead of me hiding out in the bathroom for the last half hour because let me tell you something, Black, that bathroom wasn't clean! No way to the point of being sanitary. I vomited from the smell alone, twice!" She holds up two fingers pushing her hand in from the crack of the seats to where he was in the backseat into his face which he swats away.
"Then you should've not forgotten your anti-nauseous meds." He tells her slamming the car door and yanking the passenger side open before slipping in. He was quick to crank the heat up trying to warm up his hands.
"Bloody freezing," He mutters blowing his breath into his hands with a shiver.
"Oh, I thought it was mid-July. I was getting a bit sweaty in the pits. Thanks for clarifying that bit for me- of course, it's bloody freezing!" She snaps buckling her seatbelt over her slightly bloated belly.
Regulus rolls his eyes at her. "This is your problem for wanting to go on a trip to meet the in-laws and tell them their precious baby boy knocked you up."
Liliena rolls her eyes at him while pulling out her phone. "You're the one who came up with the idea and the beach house. And it was a two side job. He didn't do it alone, nor did I."
Regulus ignores her, and instead fiddles around with the Bluetooth system as she sends a quick message to James that she just got in the rental car and now was on their way to the beach house along with sending the address and key code.
"I'm so glad you made time to see me. How's life? Tell me, how's your family? I haven't seen them in a while. You've been good, busier than ever. We small talk, work and the weather. Your guard is up and I know why."
Liliena gives Regulus a look at Pandora's soft singing voice out of the car's speakers. "Really? We just saw her and Luna yesterday to say goodbye before this small weekend getaway trip."
"Don't judge. Her music is so soothing."
Liliena rolls her eyes checking her phone. James had just dropped off Harry along gotten plenty of leftovers from his mother that should be enough for Regulus and herself. She checks the GPS and gives James the estimated time of their arrival so Sirius and he would arrive at least fifteen minutes later.
"I still don't understand why you won't let me see the rental online," Regulus complains in his seat crossing his arms.
"Because I told you, you'd nag me. And I don't need nagging."
Liliena shifts the car gear and pulls out onto the road following the provided GPS map on her phone. After ten minutes of driving, she could hear the ocean waves. She hardly goes to the coast as it is, and even though it's cold enough for snow she was going to enjoy it.
Regulus had managed to put one of Pandora's albums on and now the song softly playing through the speakers was more rather calming with the upcoming storm that was unknowingly brewing for the Black brothers. Pandora always had a sense of softness in her voice, easily waving over to people to relax no matter the song.
