 Liliena had an early rise.

By early rise, it was getting up when James got out the door with his parents for their last day to be spent with him at their new home to spend Mother's Day with his mum while Lily had Harry for an extra day giving James and Fleamont an entire Saturday to finish up Harry's room which James found as a priority.

Which left Liliena alone in the house with her Aunt Hope. Hope was spending the morning happily in the backyard somehow finding happiness in planting flowers that would bloom year round and finishing what Euphemia had started as Liliena had the television running a film that was well known to herself and aunt loud enough where she could hear it from her place in the kitchen on a lawn chair to be comfortable fixing a late lunch for herself and aunt but big enough for more people to chip in, people meaning by Remus and Teddy when they finally show up as Remus had been quiet the last day and a half to not only Liliena but his mother included.

This lunch was her aunt's favourite and made it known that only Liliena could cook perfectly. Also, it just happened to have been Remus's favourite too in general of a meal, lamb stew.

Liliena was often checking her phone waiting on a last-minute delivery that occurred in her head after Lyall's warning of her giving her Aunt a Mother's Day gift.

It wasn't much, nothing too expensive or extravagant that would go against Hope's liking. A simple bouquet of her favourite flowers and a card she had homemade done with Harry's arts and crafts material she managed to get her hands on before James had put it away properly so Harry wouldn't make a mess using paints without permission.

Liliena had no talent in the painting area, or the artiste area in general if she was going to put her homemade card besides Sirius's talented portraits but it was passable and homemade full of love.

Hope Lupin's favourite.

She carefully tracked the car that was to arrive for delivery as it made its way down the long driveway. Liliena had put the delivery to be left at the doorstep so she wouldn't have to answer it and possibly approach a fan and lose the privacy that she deeply values.

After the alert on her phone pops up, she does a quick stir of the boiling stew turning onto simmering and checks on her aunt through the windows leading out to the backyard. Hope was still on her knees, smiling as she knelt down in the dirt with her mouth moving singing along to whatever she was listening to all while soaking up the rare sunshine.

Liliena took a peek outside the front door to see if the delivery car was long gone, which it was, before opening the front door wide and open glaring at her front step at the location the flowers had been delivered.

Out of all the things LIliena can and can't do in her size of pregnancy, it was picking something up from the ground. Usually, when something falls, she ignores it and leaves it to be someone else's problem unless it was important like her phone or something, then she'd ask for an extra hand that can reach to the ground.

In her case, she got lucky as she watched Remus's slightly newer car pull in with a blue-white-haired boy in the passenger seat seeming to be glaring out of the side-view window refusing to even make eye contact with Remus. Remus shuts the car off before hobbling out, Teddy makes no move to get out.

Not even to unbuckle he simply huffs in spot and turns his cheek looking away from Liliena and Remus as Remus makes his way to her with his own gift in hand, a premade-bought cake. Simple and round with Happy Mother's Day written in fine pink icing cursive.

"Something wrong with little Teds? He's pouting in the car you've left him in."

Remus grunts in response and picks up the flowers without Liliena needing to ask which makes her beam as she takes the flowers. He leaves the cake and flowers on the step in trade to keep hold of his cane. "Been a rough weekend."
