Liliena was covered in a scratchy blanket. It was her first thought as she started to become alert to her surroundings but did not yet open her eyes or make a sound. Her first small movement, before opening her eyes, was to touch her belly.

It was soft. There was pain and plastic covering on her sky that made her wince out quietly finally opening her eyes to see her aunt quickly rushing to her side. "It's okay, Ana. Shh. It's fine, you can cry."

Liliena didn't even realise she was crying from the confusion and pain as Hope brushed away the tears and strains of her curly hair out of her face giving her a timidly soft smile simply making her feel comfortable to cry. "Why, why is my belly soft?"

"Give yourself a minute, okay? I'll explain before I call the doctor to come in."

Liliena blinks confused. She looks around the room taking it in to see herself in a hospital room. Her uncle looked passed out in the corner of the room and one hand was bandaged carefully around the knuckles. Another minute goes by with her hand still on her soft stomach finally processing new information. She tries to quickly sit up alert and panicked. "The babies- I don't feel- they're not- what happened?"

Hope quickly sets her hands on Liliena's shoulders pushing her to settle on the bed. "Shh, Ana. Calm down, shh. What's the last thing you remember? Can you tell me?"

"I uh," She blinks around the room. Her mind spinning too much to focus settle and think properly. "I had, a fight? James... James, where is he? Does he know-?"

"He's okay, sweetie. What's the last thing you remember clearly?"

"I-I was angry. I... I went to bed. I fell asleep, I think. Did, did James find me-? Why am I here? The babies? Are they okay? How are you-? You both were supposed to come by tomorrow? What time is is? I'm so confused."

"Ana, look at me. I need you to be calm for me so I can tell you what happened. Okay?"

She nods quickly wanting the information that was being withheld from her as quickly as possible.

"One of the placentas ruptured, the one that belonged to the boys as they shared. You had to receive a blood transfusion and needed an emergency C-section to safely get the babies out. No one would have known if you never called Regulus."

"Regulus? A placenta rupture? The babies? Are they okay?" Liliena tries to sit up again. Her aunt pushes her gently back down on the bed again.

"They're fine." She gives her a confident smile with a nod. "Perfectly healthy as they can be being born at 33 weeks, only one of them needed a bit of oxygen and a feeding tube but that's only temporary until they can do it on their own with a bit of practice. James and Remus are with them now. It's been a few hours since you got here, which is how Uncle Lyall and I are here already."

Liliena sags in overcoming relief taking a deep breath before continuing her rushing thoughts and worries. "Regulus. You said I called him. I don't remember that."

"He said you tried to call James, then he was your second choice. Which was a smart move than you giving up because you were having pains. You would've died from blood loss otherwise. You and the babies. He rushed to you, and got everyone on the phone- I don't know how with all the technology, there must've been at least 20 people-."

"Aunt Hope?" Liliena interrupts with raised eyebrows and thin pressed lips trying to get back on track.

"Yes. He called me then it spilled out from there. He called the emergency services and both of you came here together. They got to work on you right away to save you and the babies. That's the important part, Ana. Okay? That's the positive part. Everyone is alive and as well as they can be."
