Hearing a banging sound behind her, Camila turned her head toward the stairs noticing her older daughter on the ground, who seemed to have fallen face first on the wooden floor but immediately stood back up on her feet with no problem.

Camila really thinks that because of falling so often Luz has completely desensitized her face from any pain at this point.

"You're okay mija ?" The mother asked.

Luz simply nodded with her usual smile, before walking to the fridge and getting a carton of orange juice out to pour the liquid into a glass and drinking it in one shot.

Camila looked up at her daughter's outfit, Luz was wearing a purple T-shirt with 2 horizontal white stripe and long black sleeves, a black jogging with her usual black sport shoes and already had her elbows and knees protection on.

Camila took a sip of her coffee while watching the clock next to the front door.

7:40 am

She then looked back at Luz who was typing something on her phone, "Mija ?" Luz looked up from her phone now looking at her mother, "It is quite early in the morning, and I thought Willow and Gus had things to do" Camila said, confused.

Luz blink a few times quite confused too before making a "Oh!" Of surprise, remembering she hadn't said to her mom, "Yeah they are, but I'm actually going to hangout with someone else today!" Luz explained.

Camila nodded, "And do I know that "someone else" ? Are they a new friend of yours ?" She asked with a smile.

Luz looked away, "Um, Not really," She answered, "But I'm gonna try to!" She exclaimed with an awkward smile.

Camila's smile drops only leaving a worried expression on her face, "Luz.."

Luz quickly shook her head, "No, no this time will be different mamá!" She looked at her mother with a sad smile, "I promise.."

Camila knew she couldn't convince Luz, her daughter was way too stubborn. She stood up and walked up to Luz before placing both hands on her daughter's shoulders, "Please, be careful" is all she said.

Luz's smile got brighter then she hugged her mother who hugged her back, "I promise I'll be careful!" She then moved away and put on her one strap backpack then took her helmet before running to the front door.

With the same smile Luz waves goodbye at her mother who waves back and walks out the house.

When her daughter was out, Camila sat back at her seat with a sigh, she does trust Luz but not the people she met right away. She's probably just a worried mother.

Riding down the dirt road with the sound of the dry dirt and dust being shoved away by the wheels.

And the breeze caressing her exposed skin, but also playing with the branches and leaves of nearby trees while the sun was a bit hidden behind some clouds.

It was such a beautiful day.

Quickly, Luz could see the Blight manor's gate and a recognizable green haired girl.

Luz took a deep breath then smiled brightly while she hurried toward the girl, "Hey, Amity!" She called her.

Amity turned her attention to the latina stopping in front of her, "Hey, Luz" she greeted her with a small wave and small smile.

"Ready to go?" Luz asked, while inspecting Amity's outfit.

The Blight outfit was mostly black, She was wearing a black T-shirt, a skirt with a short underneath and a pair of black sport shoes and also a pastel pink sport backpack.
