AN: hey hey! yeah I know it took me a really looooong time to get this chapter out and I have my reasons, I had 4 dentist appointments, I experienced a migraine for the first time and it was horrible, I got sick a few days ago and finally my brain was flooding me with fanfic ideas that I absolutely have to develop!
Well, that was why, have a good read!

The sound of small chatters, cooking utensils clinging against each other from behind the kitchen door and the buzzing noise of the old light on the ceiling of the old diner was all she could hear but strangely enough wasn't preoccupating her, no.
Her golden gaze looking through the large window next to her, at the small scenery of a few cars passing by and people walking around to buy things at some nearby stores, and at the sun slowly making its way up in the clear blue sky.
But even with all these distractions in front of her, nothing could stop the images of a certain latina, flashing in the girl's mind. Her beaming smile, her fiery gaze, her short slightly curly dark chocolate hair, but also her sweet laugh echoing in Amity's mind.
Yes, she had a strange behavior but it added some charms to this lovable idiot.
It's only been 2 days since she last saw the girl but she couldn't lie that she misses her, –probably too much for her own good–.
Amity sighs quietly before turning back her head toward her cup of coffee sitting on the table right in front of her, now probably cold due to her long daydreaming time, but yet she still drinks it anyway. After the first sip she could confirm it has indeed cooled a bit, not that it displeases her, she actually prefers it like this. It was more pleasant with this hot weather.
She took her last sip of her beverage, before setting the cup back on the table and pulling out her phone to give a quick check at her messages, only to see multiple messages from her annoying siblings asking her where did she go or even why did she lock her bedroom before leaving.
Amity rolled her eyes at the obvious question and did not reply knowing full well they would find a way in eventually, which was why she hid her diary in the wall of her bathroom, it may sound extreme but it was the only hiding place she knew the twins would never think to schearch.
She put back her phone in her bag before taking it and leaving the table, she quickly paid for her coffee then exited the diner.
Walking down the street, Amity took her time to gaze around the shops and other markets around her, she didn't have anywhere else to be so she just walked around and if something caught her attention she would simply stop to check it out.
Right now what was really getting Amity's full attention was a litter of 5 kittens inside a glass box put against the large window of the veterinarian, probably some rescued ones put for adoption.
And they were so adorable, especially a little Calico one that chased after Amity's hand while this one was running her hand in front of the glass which amused a lot Amity, reminding her of how Ghost was such a full time charge battery as a kitten.
Aww little baby, I wish I could adopt you, you're so cute!
Not just that little kitten but all the others would've got adopted if Amity could, but of course she had to restrain her from bursting into the building and slap her credit card on the counter.
