Chapter 3

Bible looks back and forth at the two he just caught in an intimate act.
Jeff and Barcode break their eyes from Bible's and look at each other.

Jeff thoughts: I look into Barcode's eyes and they're filled with tears. I know he's not ready for anyone else to know. I give him a small nod to tell him 'it's okay' then I look back to Bible to explain.
Jeff: We were just talking.
Bible: You always talk with your hand under-
Jeff interrupts.
Jeff: We. Were. Talking. Please, leave it at that.
Bible looks at Barcode and sees his teary eyes. I noticed how Code kept one hand clinging onto the back of Jeff's shirt. So, I decided if they didn't want to talk about it let it be.
Bible: mmh okay.
Bible starts to turn to leave but stops.
Code: Please-please don't tell anyone what you saw.
Bible: -Hearing this I can't leave nong feeling embarrassed or worried.- N'Code, I'm not gonna ask what was going on. You can tell me and anyone else when you're ready. I do want you to know that whatever this is. You don't have to feel ashamed. Don't be ashamed of who you are and who you love. I won't look at you any differently and anyone who truly loves you won't either. With that I leave.
Barcode: I'm sorry P'. -I break down crying feeling so many emotions all at once. I feel ashamed for feeling ashamed about loving a man, I feel guilty for not being able to tell everyone about our relationship, and I feel scared. Scared because before Bible walked in, I could feel Jeff wanted more than just a kiss. As much as I wanted more too. I just don't think I'm ready to have sex. Everything is so new to me. I'm a virgin in every way possible, even kissing. I love Jeff so much but he is very experienced. What if he doesn't want to wait for us to have sex? Will he be happy with that?
Jeff: Tirak, what's wrong? You have no reason to be sorry. - I place a gentle kiss on his forehead and wipe his tears away with my fingers.- I don't expect you to tell anyone before you're ready.
Barcode:  I want you to be happy. I don't want you to have to hide anything from anyone. I want to give you everything you need.
Jeff cups his boyfriend's face with both hands. He looks deep into his eyes.
Jeff: You make me happy. I do want to tell people, but I also want us to want to do that together. -I sigh. I know when Code says, "everything you need" he's talking about sex. I hate that the moment between us earlier made him feel insecure. I never intended for him to become upset. I would've stopped anytime he wanted. - It doesn't have to be now. You give me so much. Sex is something that I want but you feeling safe every moment you're with me is something I need more.
Barcode thoughts: The sincerity in Jeff's eyes and voice fills my heart with more love than I thought possible. I place a kiss on both cheeks and then his nose. After pulling back we both smile at each other.

The next day: The first day of the tour.

We get to the hotel lobby tired, exhausted, and mostly excited.

Staff: Okay all of you know who you're rooming with. Here are the keycards. Your room numbers are on them. Please do not reveal on social media any indications on the hotel. Here are your schedules for this city. Good night.

Barcode thoughts: I look over at Jeff who is laughing with Bible. Since the moment he picked me up. I couldn't stop thinking about how we're sharing a room during the tour. Sleeping in the same room. Showering in the same bathroom. I get to be so close to him all the time. We could kiss. I've long forgotten about winning the game. Ever since the talk we had in the bathroom. I want to show P' how I feel about him. It's all I thought about after I got home. I even dreamed about it. I feel a sudden arm around me and it yanks me out of my thoughts. I turn to see Build smiling at me.
Build: Have you told Jeff how you feel about him yet?
Barcode: *widens eyes, What? I-um. How did you know?
Build: I have eyes. Since the first day I saw you two together. I knew you loved each other. I only bring it up now because something's changed between the both of you. You act more sure of one another now. The teasing feels more like flirting.
Barcode: Don't tell anyone. We are dating.
Build: Damn, Code you pulled Jeff Satur. If I was you I would be screaming it at the top of my lungs.
Barcode: It's not that I don't want people to know. It's more of what will people think of me?
Build: You mean your friends and family?
Barcode thinks back to what Bible told him. I know he's right that people who love him will not think any differently. He, however, wonders how the public will think of him. He's still new to the industry. Will his fans be okay with it? Will the staff be okay with it? How will it affect his career? There's so many different things to consider.
Barcode: No. Just public.
Build gives Code a pat on the back.
Build: It can be hard. Not everyone is going to be okay with it. People will say whatever they please about it. Just remember. This is your life. Don't let people's opinions control it.

Jeff after grabbing the key card feels a hard smack on the back of his head.
Jeff: Bible? What?
Bible: You've made Nong fall head over heels in love with you. Just look-Bible nods his head in the direction of Barcode-he's been staring at you like that since the airport.
Jeff: I love him too.
Bible: Mmh. I see that. But, if you two plan on keeping that love of yours a secret I wouldn't be about to fuck in the studio bathroom.
Jeff: *laughs, You try having someone as alluring like Barcode. It's not easy to keep your hands to yourself. Why is Build's arm around my boyfriend?
Bible notices the sudden change in tone along with expression. Jeff's face went from smiling to his lips pressed hard together.
Bible: Build sees N'Code as a brother. Nothing more. They're just talking.
Jeff: I know but it still provokes me nonetheless.
I walk away from Bible and grab Code's hand. 
Jeff: I'm tired, are you ready for bed?
Barcode nods and says goodnight.
Jeff doesn't let go of his hand till after they enter their room.
Jeff: Which bed do you want?
Code: I'll take the one by the bathroom.
Jeff nods and starts taking off his shirt .
Barcode gulps and looks at his boyfriend's upper body.
Barcode thoughts: While I've seen glimpses of his body. Seeing him completely shirtless brought out a different feeling in my body. I wanted to feel it under my hands. I wanted to brush my lips over it. I started biting my bottom lip hard.
Jeff looks back at Barcode after throwing his shirt onto a nearby chair.
Jeff thoughts: Code isn't looking at my face but my body. His body is tense. I can't help but tease. I slowly walk closer. Once both of our bodies are so close that I'm inhaling the air he's exhaling. I grab his hand and place it on my abs. Watching his face carefully to see his reaction. Code shyly moves his hand over my abs and then up to my chest.
Barcode: W-Why did you take your shirt off.
Jeff: Are you complaining? I took it off to take a shower.
Barcode: Are you going to *hard exhale, take off everything here?
Jeff: Do you want me to? I say this playfully, not expecting him to answer seriously.
Barcode: I don't know.
Code pulls away his hand from Jeff's chest and hastily mutters something about unpacking.
Jeff smiles at the shy boy and walks into the bathroom to shower.

Later that night.

Jeff closes his eyes trying to go to sleep.
Suddenly he feels the covers lift.
Jeff: Code? *My tone is soft
Barcode doesn't answer. He climbs into the bed and lays beside Jeff.
Jeff: Miss me?
Code: I couldn't sleep.
Jeff: Come here. I'll hold you.
Jeff pulls Barcode in closely. He wraps his arms around his boyfriend and lets Code lay his head on Jeff's chest. They are only like this for a moment.
Barcode thoughts: I thought I just wanted a hug. But being in his arms and feeling the love between us. I just want to show him everything I'm feeling. I lift myself up a little and press a kiss to Jeff's lips. My kiss is a bit shy but filled with love I wanted to express. I pulled back a little and Jeff put his hands on my waist. He flips me over onto my back and climbs over me. Jeff kissed me this time. It's more passionate and filled with desire.
Jeff thoughts: Barcode's lips are warm and soft. He parted his lips slightly inviting me to slip my tongue inside. Tongues touch and explore each other's mouths. I remove my tongue for a moment and bite lightly on his bottom lip. I continue to put hard kisses on his lips. Everytime our lips touch electricity shoots through me. I feel Code's fingers slide through my hair and on my back. Him touching me in a longing way is driving me crazy. I pull back, allowing him to catch his breath. I stare at his flushed face and red lips. I want to kiss him again but my body is already tensing up. I should stop now. I lay back down beside Barcode and pull him back into a hold. We stay like this till both of us fall asleep. Still thinking about the kiss.
