Katherine De Windsor
"The carriage has arrived, Your Grace." The house maid informed.
Is he going somewhere?
"Alright." He wiped his face with his handkerchief. Apparently, he has been having meals together with me for the past after the visit of Arthur which had already been a week. "Katherine, get ready, we'll be leaving soon."
"W-What? Where? W-When? Why?" I asked getting more and more confused.
He stared at me for a second, "To get your wedding accessories and dress."
"Huh? Right now?" I asked.
He sighed, "My precious, why do you ask me so many questions?" He then looked at me with his deadly red eyes but it seemed rather sweet.
Precious, my ass! He literally called me a temporary wife a week ago and now he's being sweet? Men.
I ignored the sweet talking and got up, "I'll get ready then." Before he could say anything else, I left.

"Woah..." My eyes widened at the city town's glow up.
"What's the occasion?" I asked getting a bit excited.
"Our marriage." He answered.
"W-What?" I asked.
"Indeed, that's how it works here, precious. Every time a Royalty gets married, they decorate the town to show their gratitude towards the up-coming member of the Royalty." He explained in details.
I've been the daughter who was always hidden. In fact, my so called father never let me out because he thought I'll cause a scene everywhere I go which was fair because it's Katherine De Windsor we're talking about.
I looked everywhere in surprise. The town didn't look like those normal towns even in the novels. It was so welcoming and calming. Everyone was so happy and all.
My eyes widened at the sight of something very cute.
"They even made dolls of us!" I picked up two cute decorated dolls from a random shop and showed it to Darcy in excitement.
He stared at me and smiled making my heart flutter. No Katherine, you cannot fall for this damn Duke again. Remember your past life?
"I'll take these two." Darcy picked up the dolls from my hand and handed it to the shop keeper who looked shocked.
"G-Grand Duke and the grand duchess-"
Darcy glared at the shopkeeper before he could say anything more. Probably to keep him quiet.
After buying the cute dolls we were on our way to the boutique. I've heard everyone is dying to shop from here for their wedding but unfortunately, only high praise nobles and royalty are able to shop from here which also gives me the opportunity to buy from here because I'm the Duchess-to-be.
_
"We can't show His Grace, your new wedding dress." The old elegant lady smiled at me, fixing the dress I trailed.
