Katherine De Windsor
"Done?" Darcy spoke as soon as I got out from the trial room. I had chose the dress he picked because there's no way, I'd avoid it.
I nodded.
He raised his brow, "Then we shall depart." he looked at the owner of the boutique and she smiled.
Before I could say anything, Darcy held my hand began to lead the way. We got out of the shop but he didn't let go of my hand. It's like he doesn't want to. As if he likes me...
He took me to a corner of a street that looked abandoned, like there was no one but our own shadows.
Why...? Is he a pervert? But in the novel and in the internet, I heard Darcy Arlo Carrington was a red flag on the outside but greenest green on the inside.
"Did Mártha said anything to make you upset?" He asked placing his hands on the wall and I leaned on the wall by the pressure of his body touching me.
"No..." I said getting a little bit- No! Alot nervous! What is he doing in the broad daylight in the middle of an abandoned street?
"Why were you crying then?" He asked staring deeply at me with his bloody red eyes.
"I wasn't... Can you-"
"Your eyes are red, precious..." He said leaning on me even more. We were few inches closer to eachother. One more step and he might actually kiss me, again! "Tell me, love, what's been bothering you?"
I looked at him in disbelief. At first he acts like he might kill me any moment and then he calls me precious and love. It's so hard to understand men these days.
"You!" I said loudly. "You are bothering me. Your whole presence is bothering me. You being with me is bothering me. Your insult is bothering me. Your compliments are bothering me. Everything is bothering me" Tears dropped from my eyes as I finished.
His eyes widened as he noticed the tony little droplets flowing down my eyes. "Precious-"
"No, you listen to me. I know we've decided to divorce each other after you get your land back and I accepted that already but why did I have to stand outside your chamber and listen to you talk crap about me with Adam?" I exhaled. Tears still dropping.
"Alright it's fine...but why do you change your mood everyday? Like one time you're really rude and mean and the next day you're so sweet that you buy me the Princess Adeline's wedding dress. Not to mention, you specifically requested for it..." I sniffed.
"Precious I-"
"Darcy, after divorce, I'm going to be a no one to you and that's our fate. We've decided on that. Don't treat me like a you. If you hate me, hate me properly." This time I cried as loudly as I could. It's so embarrassing at some point. I've never cried in front of anyone. I was always the strong type who never showed her true emotions and always was cheerful but where is she now?
Am I becoming Katherine ?
Before he could say anything, I stormed out of there and before I could react to anything, a hand grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to a body.
I turned to see Darcy hugging me tightly like he doesn't want to let go.
"You...hate me all you want but never roam around this street alone." He said. He was shivering.
"Darcy..." I tried to hold his hand while he still hugged me tightly.
"Never!" He yelled.
I didn't say anything. Instead, I just let him do whatever he wants with me. One thing was sure, Darcy Arlo Carrington is a baby on the inside.

"Lady Katherine, you're back!" Briana came to me.
"You seemed to wait for me, Briana." I smiled.
"Yes!" She squealed.
I chuckled.
"How did the outing with His Grace go?" She asked casually.
"We went to shop for the wedding nothing else." I sighed. "And I'm tired. I would like some rest please."
"Sure, My Lady. Would you like to take a bath before it?" She said smiling.
"That would be the best!" I yawned, stretching my arms out.
_
"Sir Adam!" I ran up to him. "How have you been?"
It's really been a long since I last saw him and it feels like best friends are reuniting.
I chuckled at my own thought.
"Lady Katherine." He said. Still the neutral face I see.
I noticed the emerald broach I gifted him before. It feels so good to see him wearing this.
"It looks beautiful." I smiled admiring the green broach.
"What's happening?" I heard Darcy's voice, I quickly look at him and raised my brow.
"Greetings." I said formally.
His lips twitched. "What are you guys doing?"
"Lady Katherine was admiring the broach, she gifted me." Adam replied.
"Broach she gifted you? I wasn't informed about that.." He looked at me.
How will you remember when you, yourself threw it away. I did pick it up and kept in my room because that shit was hella expensive.
"Can't gift someone who can't appreciate." I said smiling.
Darcy raised his brow, "You didn't even try."
I did try! You threw it away but I cannot argue with it.
I ignored him and followed my way to my room.
"Katherine wait!" Darcy approached me holding my hand.
"What is it?" I shoved his hand away from me. "What do you need?"
"I'm sorry..." He said making me widen my eyes, "I'm sorry for my behaviour. I want to change it. I don't want to argue with you. I want to stoll at the Royal Garden with you, I want to go to the City Centre with you. Please don't shove me away."
I stood there in silence because no matter what happened in my life, no one ever apologised in so much details. They only used "Sorry." "Oops." "Pardon." Nothing else. To think someone like Darcy who has a high chances of killing me apologized to me like that, makes me feel really special.
"I forgive you, Darcy." I said calmly. "you don't have to apologise to me like that although I do appreciate the kindness."
"Do not speak for formally to me." He mumbled but enough for me to hear it.
I chuckled, "I thought you'd like it."
"Not when its you...You are going to be my wife who will see me at my worst so you should be prepared for it." He calmly said but enough for my heart to skip a beat.
How does he do that with such a neutral face.
