"I guess this is the end of our deal." Baron said as soon as he signed the contract.

"You played nice." Arthur talked nonsense, again.

Baron laughed and he said, "Tell me when you divorce my daughter." He smirked, "I'll give you my other daughter."

Is he alright? How could he say something so nuisance.

"Watch your mouth, Baron." I glared at him.

"Don't tell me." His eyes widened and he gave me a cunning look, "You've fallen for my elder daughter."

"That has nothing to do with you." I replied.

"I'm her father." He explained.

"Father?" I scoffed. "You call yourself a father after trading your daughter to a man she doesn't know?" I furrowed my eye brow.

The baron flinched at my words. Arthur was quietly listening to me.

I did some digging on Katherine and found out how she'd been treated at his own house after her mother's death. I cannot say I feel her and even after hearing it, I didn't feel pity for her but rather something in me burned. I was filled with anger and wanted to hang Baron Antony on the castle walls.

And right now, I was about to take out my sword and pierce his body thousand times until none of his skin is seen. That's the kind of anger, I have in me towards Baron Antony.

Treating his own daughter like shit. How the fuck can he call himself a father after what he did to Katherine?

"Your Grace I-"

"The way you treat her, do you feel like you are her father?" I asked glaring at him with my deadly eyes.

Baron Antony was a free bird but now he's stuck in my cage and I'm not letting him go that easily.

"I-"

"It's been almost four months since she departed from your house. Did you ever visited her? Did you come to see her?" I kept on asking questions.

"I was busy-"

"Busy with what?!" I yelled this time. Making both the person in the room, flinch. "Gambling? Meeting random mistresses?"

His eyes widened. I had to dig up in his life to win.

"To be honest, I'm really grateful to you." I neutralised my face. "To give me such a gem. Such a precious woman." My heart softened when I thought about her smile.

Baron Antony didn't say anything. He just kept his head low and listened to me.

"One thing is for sure. You've always lusted over gems and jewels but you lost the most valuable thing in your life. The daughter of the woman whom you loved dearly. You couldn't even treasure the last thing of her." I smirked. "Do not think of yourself so high, Antony De Windsor, because you have lost the war."

Arthur smirked when I said it and Baron Antony was trembling because he doesn't know what's waiting for him but he does know, it's something bad.
