Katherine De Windsor
"What kind of conversation did you have?" Darcy asked before I could enter my room.
I need fresh air. I'm sweating even in this cold weather. I don't know what to do. Alan is the main culprit behind all these crisis that has been going on with me. What should I do? What if he tells Darcy about the real me and what if. . . What if... What if he kills me for lying to him.
"Katherine."
What am I going to do? If I die here, I wouldn't have any other chance. How is Alan here?
"Katherine."
Why is he here? What is happening to me? It's getting so good. I feel like I'm suffocating.
"Katherine!" Before I could react to anything, he held my hand and looked directly at my shocked and terrified face. "What . . . Happened there...?"
His own expression changed when he saw me like he was worried about me.
"N-Nothing." I shoved his hand away from me. "I-I need to be alone. . ." I breathed heavily. "I need fresh air."
Darcy's eyes widened at my sudden change of expression, probably wondering why am I acting this way? How am I suppose to react when I'm almost at the verge of death. Should I open up with Darcy? Can I really tell him everything?
"Katherine. Breathe, precious." He took my on his arm and carried me into my room. He lied me down on the bed.
"I-I'm sorry. . ." Tears were coming out from my eyes now. "I'm really sorry." This time I didn't care whether he minds or not, I began to cry loudly.
Darcy held my hand and kissed it continuously until I had no tears left. "It's alright. Relax. Precious. Tell me what happened?"
"N-No!" I said. "You will kill me."
I didn't even realise what I was saying. I immediately regretted what I just said and my eyes widened at him. "N-No, that's not what I meant. I'm sorry. I-I didn't know what I was saying. . . I-"
"Shh. . ." He kissed my hand and rubbed his cheeks on it and stared at me. "You know, precious, I will never kill you." He kissed it again, "Never."
Can I trust him? Will he be able to bear what I will tell him?
_
I opened my eyes to see Darcy staring at me. I flinched as soon as I saw him. Who wouldn't get scared if they see a massive man sitting in front of them and on top of that, they r staring.
"You scared me!" I sat down while the blanket lied on top of me.
He chuckled, "Did I?"
God. Him and his charming smile.
"Are you feeling better, precious?" He asked getting serious now.
I nodded. "Is Vincent- I meant His Majesty gone?"
He raised his brow, "He'd be staying for couple of days." He scratched his head, making his hair messy which obviously looked too damn hot, "I don't get why he's here."
