"I'm going to flay her." I semi growled. Garth shook his head, a half smile on his face.

"You're not going to flay anyone in the state you are." He continued tending to her leg.

"Just you wait! I'm going to put her head above my fire place."

"You're like a Chihuahua you know? Cute and easily riled. Plus you shake." I reached up and punched Garth in the shoulder.

"Shut up you nitwit." Laying back I breathed hard. A sharp pain shot up my leg making me yelp.

"I'm sorry Lina." He took my hand in his. I looked up at him, the boy who stabbed me and brought me to a psychotic vampire.

"You should be. For everything." I whispered.

"Lina..." He trailed off and shook his head. "I know I'm flawed. I regret ever agreeing to help Vivian. The one thing I don't regret is meeting you." Garth looked at me with his impossibly green eyes.

"Garth..."

"I know you can never feel the way I do but I swear I'll make this rigjt. He let go of my hand and continued patching me up. I watched him, his brows knitting together in concentration, the smile gone. Maybe, if I didn't know the creatures from children's nightmares actually existed, we could have worked. But that's never going to happen is it?

"What are you thinking about so hard over there? I can practically see the smoke rising off the gears turning in your head." He had that smile again.

"I think you're a good person, Garth." He looked confused. "You are not your mistakes."

"Yeah but I intentionally brought you here." He looked down. "I stabbed you for Christ's sake." Garth ran his hands through his hair. His chest rose and fell, the sound of his breathing hitched.

"Garth calm down." I rested my hand on his shoulder. He looked over, pain swelled in his eyes.

"I'm a monster Lina. Literally and figuratively. You shouldn't even want to see me."

"I'm all about forgiving. I have to be around a man like Alexander." Garth snorted.

"Yeah I bet he'll use me as a throw rug when he finds you."

"When? What makes you think he'll look?" I breathed a short laugh.

"Oh he'll look for you. That boy will search the ends of the earth to find you." I blushed and turned away. "It's true, no matter what you think Vampire Boy is smitten."

"You think?" I asked.

"I know." I felt him finish the stitches. "All done." Looking down I see he had actually done pretty well.

"Thank you." I tried moving it which was a bad mistake. Tears sprang to my eyes as I wheezed.

"Don't move you dingus. You'll ruin my handy stitchwork."

"Where did you learn to do this?"

"I like knitting." I raised an eyebrow. "Nah, I took a few classes." Shaking my head I smiled.

"Shut up." He nudged my shoulder with his head.

"You think I could get some pillows in here man? This floor is hella uncomfortable."

"'Hella'?" He squinted.

"Yeah I'll never say that again." We shared a laugh. "But seriously, pillows."
"I'll see what I can do." We stared at each other for a moment. "I've got to do. Bat Bitch might get suspicious." He stood and cleaned up. "I'll come back in a few. Try to sleep."

"Yes sir." I saluted and watched as he walked out. Don't forget the pillows. I thought as began to sleep.

Alexander's P.O.V.

"Miss me?" Mike walked to my bed and sat down. The mattress did not dip as it should have, confirming his other worldly state of exsistance.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, shutting the door behind myself.

"Aw I missed you too. You know I do so miss our little chats."

"Cut the shit and answer my question."

"I don't know. Probably that whole deal of 'unfinished business' and whatnot." I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

"It probably has to do with Lina." His eyes widen and he stood.

"What about Lina?"

"She was taken. No one knows where she is."

"That girl. She always will find a way to get in trouble." He turned and suddenly poofed away.

"What the hell?" A minute later he reappeared.

"Woah. That was a trip. I don't quite have control on being a ghost."

"Yeah no shit." I looked over read the clock on my wall. 5:37 p.m. "Look, I've got to go. Stay here."

"Don't tell me what to do. I can do whatever I want now."

"Hey I'm not the one that got himself killed."

"Shut it asshat." Turning I walked to the door. As soon as I was over the threshold I heard Mike. He was being pulled toward me.

"What the hell?" We both said at the smae time. I walked furthur into the hallway and sure enough he was being pulled along with me.

"Well this sucks. Looks like you're stuck with me." Mike had a smug grin plastered on his face.

"I hate you." I heard the quiet chattering of people downstairs. "Look I don't think they can handle you being... around right now."

"Ok so?"

"So go invisible."

"Ugh. Men. All they want is for someone to get attached and then ask them to disappear." He poofed away. Shaking my head I walked downstairs, a cold chill always slithering down my back.

[Q.P.]

Heya! Well I'd just like to let you know I am working on a new story, yay. It will be about supernatural creatures living together and trying to fit into modern society so that should be fun. I hoped you liked this chapter. Keep on reading Killers.
