Adara ran onto the Bridge, and as she entered, she said: "It's no drama, everyone, just relax. It's the old Krellen I spoke to last time they visited us. Administrator. Let's pull up a little short and ask if we can pass through their space. It's the polite thing to do. When we stop, I will go over and visit with them again."
Matt did as Adara asked, and once again, Adara left Eden to cross the distance to the Krellen Ship. This time, she entered an awesome spaceship that contained hundreds of Krellen. They all wanted to see the human Queen that was 'All-Powerful.' That could perform miracles of healing and was the individual that destroyed the reptiles single-handedly, and then defeated the Morfin attack fleet in less than one human standard hour.
The Krellen that met her was the same one she had met some six years ago on the way to Alpha Centauri. It lowered its front pair of cat-like beasts as it did last time and Adara bowed in return. She said: "You honour me, Ambassador. As we discussed, last time, I have come to judge the Morfin Empress."
With your consent, we will pass through Krellen space without challenge. Once through Krellen space, we will transition to Hyperlight and arrive at the border to Morfin space in less than four weeks."
The Krellen said: "I see you are still direct, Queen Adara. It is so refreshing to hear. There is not a single Krellen in our Empire who is not bursting a trunk for a glimpse of you in the flesh."
"I understand your need to exact a fair price for two unwarranted attacks against you. We all saw the complete replay of the second battle as one of our Allies sent a cloaked ship to observe."
"In these times, Adara, we must assume that there is always a witness to our activities. My perception is that humans will not attack first, but if fired upon, will retaliate with ultimate prejudice and total annihilation. It is a little intimidating to see such power unleashed."
Adara said: "We humans are not a species who advertise power. It is better to be underestimated. I thought you had already agreed to turn away as we traverse you space, ambassador."
"The Ambassador replied: "We will not stop you, however, I'm here to ask a favour. If possible, can I delay you just a few days, Adara? I think it will make no difference to the universal plan. I have an elder tree that would like to talk with you about the Morfin situation."
Adara asked: "Ambassador, you know how tight our schedule is and you must know what we had to overcome so we could arrive here as I promised the Morfin Consort-Partner if you have been watching us."
The Ambassador said: "Your species is unique. I have never seen such inventive pureness of direction and focus. Please accept the invitation, Adara. No outsider has ever been invited to Krell. This is an unheard-of event in our history."
Adara asked: "Who is it that wants to talk to me?"
The Ambassador replied: "The Emperor of Krell, Adara."
Adara asked 'B' Sharp to pass on the request to Matt and ask if it's okay to make a small detour.
'B' Sharp sent: "Matt says okay. SP1 is annoyed at the delay to its agenda, but in SP1's mind, nothing is too much for you to ask. So, don't worry. The good news is that Krell is on our approximate route, anyway, so we don't lose distance, just a few days."
The short journey to Krell was fast as it was literally at the edge of Krell space on the rim of the Andromeda galaxy. Adara remained on the Krellen Flagship as a guest of the Ambassador for the short passage, and as soon as they arrived in Krell orbit, Adara and the Ambassador descended to the surface in a sleek, aerodynamic Shuttle.
