Storm announced: "Administrators, we will arrive at the edge of the Triangulum Galaxy in minus ten minutes. Our arrival safety protocol has been initiated. As we transition to sub light, I will allow the shields to access the full power of 'four out of our six' Infinity Battery's, just in case we have a welcoming committee."
Matt said: "Excellent! It looks like we're getting acquainted with Hyperlight travel, and our new protocols will mean that prying eyes will see only background stars as we approach. We can do nothing about the graviton waves, but I can live with that."
Sharon said: "Our Graviton wave will freak out anyone looking at us using something like a telescopic Mass Spectrometer."
Matt said: "I can't see how it's possible to mask the fact that we generate gravity waves when we move. It's not like we can't hide it. We must register like a like an enormous rogue planet or runaway black hole approaching from the void."
Storm said: "Will you two stop finding things to worry about. They could hit me with a sun at light speed, and we'd just smash right through it. To steal a quote from our 'soon to be' extinct enemy, The reptilian Family. 'It is the way of things.' So, relax. Go and enjoy a coffee."
Later that night, Matt asked: "Are you sure that it's okay if I go to this meeting, Sharon? I could be away for months."
Sharon said: "I could use the break, and so could you. You'll be safe in your new nanite body with its inbuilt Infinity Battery. If it wasn't for Eden's ability to preserve your real body in the Essence Transfer Centre, I'd say that it's far too dangerous. As it is, you'll have Adara and SP1 with you. All three of you will be basically indestructible, and the SP1 ship will have a second extra-large Infinity Battery installed before it leaves."
"This is one of those occasions when it's a pain to be an Administrator. One of us must stay, and anyway, I'll have Calemon and the rest of the nine for support. We'll be fine. Let's just get the mining done here in this galaxy and get a move on, the sooner we get it over with, the sooner I'll have you back."
Matt went to see Adara about his new body in the Essence Transfer Centre. He felt so weird as he looked it over. It was the 'perfect him,' but totally dormant as if it was dead.
Adara said: "I made this body myself. It does everything mine does, and the human sized Infinity Battery in its chest is more powerful than any other, single battery. In this body, you will need to learn how to control the Graviton field, Projectors and Ram weapon."
"This is the body you will have until the end of time Matt and if you are wondering, it is also reproductively functional." Adara laughed at Matt's surface thoughts and answered indirectly, saying: "You can eat, drink, and perform any function you do now, and it is also like a Graviton ship. The Nanites maintaining it are yours to control. I pushed them to obey you just like I did with SP1. When you strap this body on, you can do just about anything."
Matt said: "Thanks, Adara. I think I'll regret going back to my old body if it's as good as you say. I'll be able to beat josh on the matts for the first time ever."
Adara said: "I wouldn't spar with him in this body, one strike and he's dead. You will need many months of practice to master its strength, and your subconscious will notice things are not quite right for many months, so you will feel a bit uncomfortable."
"I'll be in your head acting like a large capacitor to help stabilise your energy, just like Eden did for me when I came into the world. In addition to me helping you through your adjustment period, there are fifteen lower end, sub-AI's controlling power flow to different areas in your body, and there are 'two' plus level AIs, operating as the master controllers for the Infinity Battery, they create double redundancy. Everything is nanite maintained, scan proof, and EMP proof."
