The news of Faiza's accident spread like wildfire through the family, leaving everyone in a state of panic. Ayaan and Elhaan rushed her to the hospital, their hearts racing with worry.
After waiting for a few minutes the doctor came out from the emergency, Elhaan anxiously asked the doctor, "How is our mother?"
The doctor reassured them, "Thank God, she's fine. No need to worry. Just take good care of her. She has a head injury."
Ayaan sought further clarification, "Is there any danger?"
The doctor calmed their fears, "No, the injury is not deep. We'll discharge her tomorrow morning."
Elhaan nodded, relieved, "Okay, thank you, doctor."
As the doctor left, Shahbaz exclaimed, "Thank you, Allah, for your mercy!"
But Elhaan's mind was still racing with questions, "But how did Ammi (mom) fall from the stairs?"
Ayaan pondered, "We're all thinking the same. Ammi (Mom) is always so careful, how did she fall? Thank God, Choti Ammi (Falak Aunt) was there. She alerted us quickly."
Shahnawaz nodded, "Thank God indeed. We should call home and let everyone know. They must be worried sick."
Elhaan agreed, "Yes, Chote Abbu (Shahnawaz Uncle). I'll make the call."
Elhaan dialed the number and he reassured Shahnawaz that Faiza is out of danger. But the same question was hanged in the air in the house too, as the family exchanged worried glances, unsure of what had really happened. Zoya, still reeling from the shock, remained silent, her eyes downcast, her heart heavy with guilt.

At home, Shahnawaz quickly called everyone to share the news. "Faiza bhabhi (Sister-in-law) is fine and will be back home tomorrow morning."
The family breathed a collective sigh of relief, expressing their gratitude. Azka said, "Thank God, Bhabhi (sister-in-law) is okay."
Ramsha added, "Good that Chote Abbu (Shahnawaz Uncle) told us, or we would have been worried sick. Let's prepare some home-cooked food for Ammi (Mom)."
Amreen offered, "I'll come to help, Bhabhi (Sister-in-law)."
Laiba chimed in, "I'll help too."
The family's concern shifted to caring for Faiza, relieved that the situation wasn't more severe. Little did they know, Zoya's secret weighed heavily on her heart, hidden behind a mask of relief.
Azka suggested, "Let's go see Mamu Jaan (Nawazuddin Uncle). He must be worried sick." Nayab agreed, "Yes, let's go."
Zoya waa her room, she was frantic, unsure of what to do or say. Falak scolded, "Pray to Allah that Bhabhi (Sister-in-law) recovers, Zoya. If anything happens to her, your father will never forgive you."
Zoya pleaded, "Ammi (Mom)... I didn't mean to... it was an accident. I didn't know what I was doing, and I pushed Badi Ammi (Faiza Aunt)... I'm sorry, Ammi (Mom)."
Tears streamed down Zoya's face as she begged for forgiveness, her voice shaking with remorse. Falak's stern expression showed no signs of softening, leaving Zoya feeling helpless and consumed by guilt.
Falak hugged Zoya, "Pray, that's all we can do right now."
Just then, Nayab entered, "Bhabhi (Sister-in-law)?!! Faiza Bhabhi (Sister-in-law) is fine."
Falak asked anxiously, "Is she really okay?"
Nayab reassured, "Yes, Shahnawaz bhai Jaan (Brother) called. No need to worry."
